It's so sad that we have lost SID JUSTICE another one of my favorite wrestlers from when I was a kid taking to soon R,I,P. SID JUSTICE THE RULER OF THE 🌎🌍🌎🌍
The idea that there are "rookie" cards for pro wrestlers is silly, but not necessarily for the reasons stated in this video. Pro wrestling is not equivalent to sports in this way. Saying you have a pro wrestler's rookie card is like saying you have Steve Urkel's rookie card, or Danny Tanner's rookie card. It's dumb.
That Rey Mysterio mask is not ring worn I nor is it a pro grade mask made by his mask makers I collect masks and that is an old wwe shop rey mask you could buy that's what you call a semi-pro mask. Rey only uses pro grade masks made by his personal mask maker is hayashi or bucio. You can tell just by the craftsmanship of the real ones.
I find it amazing that adults are so passionate about these but I find it interesting and how excited they get about items. It's definitely some childhood sentimental thing.
Well Matt, the host, is probably at the tippy top of how much someone can be into wrestling figures. A LOT of people grew up not only watching wrestling, but collecting and desiring so many of these figures. I never did, but I still find it super interesting.
As an adult with a few collecting hobbies (namely CDs), it’s partially a childhood nostalgia but also the fulfillment of something that I couldn’t achieve at a younger age. Every time I pick up a new disc, or a collectible it some other description, there is a satisfaction that comes with it. I’d imagine a lot of those feelings are there for someone like Matt who didn’t grow up with a very wealthy/privileged background.
@@gabepollock1641I think he kinda did lol or at least a solid middle class with tons and tons of toys bought for him, and full blown wrestling themed parties and wrestling shows and trips. But yes, deeefinetely a childhood/nostalgia driven hobby.
Hey Matt Mark and Brian. It's my birthday coming up Sunday September 8 (1985) i don't really need anything except to live your trajectory lol but umm yo just keep giving to the Holidays and if you could give to the back to school in the region if you don't get this too late (Albany NY) I saw a house show in 2013 in Albany I got to see Matt RVD and CM. I really feel bad because I'm not going to lie I got up on Brian way later..Mark? Well my Internet hasn't been...I kid I love all of you guys and I didn't realize I was still an action figure slash trading card video game guy until I learned from you guys it was cool. Thanks
Tony is a top bloke. I hope many people get a chance to head to the store and support him.
One of my favorite place in AZ it was nice to meet you matt
@4:31 RIP to “Sweet & Sour” Larry Sweeney as well
Love this owner…. Always love to see the passion!

8:43 I remember I wanted that so bad, but as a kid I couldn’t afford it. I slowly started buying the VHS individually and have the first six
Tony is the card God! 🤘
Was there in March 2023 when they had Bryan Clark in fora signing. Hoping to go back when I’m down in december

4:31 I love that Larry Sweeny card.
We need a supper gabby video!!!!
Awesome video and great store
If he has cards dating back to 1887, it’s possible he has a Bobby Fish rookie card.
This is an underrated comment.
😂
I rewatched Sid vs Heath Slater match yesterday ❤️ RIP Sid
I saw that stuft magazine lmao i read maxim
WOW Magazine was the best wrestling magazine ever printed
Odd looking chokeslam 😂😂
Which cards were from 1887 and was there a Gangrel in the set to authenticate he was a genuine vampire?
Ok mister Matt Cardona. What if Ringside Collectibles made an Earl Hefner action figure.
Brodie Lee 💜🖤
But does he have the cards that were inside of the ice cream bar boxes??? Those would be awesome to see
In the intro where’s the choke slam??
I bought a CMLL Vampiro at a flea market probably 27 years ago. I didn’t watch wrestling yet. Just thought it looked cool haha
how THE FUCK is the oldest wrestling card in his collection, from 1887, simply "somewhere in the back"? that sounds reckless asfffff lol.
I would presume it’s well protected. They’re worth a lot but not as much as you’d think. A few hundred dollars.
Put a bend in that brim.
No one does that anymore
I would pay , to work in a store like this lol.

Watch the video. The owner says he dosent like using that term. He says" first appearance".
@@Kane-yg5zy Huh? I did watch the video. I was clearly commenting on their discussion. I don't think you understood what I wrote. But that's okay.
Rip Brodie Lee but there is no way I’d ever pay 80.00 for one of his cards😂
That soft toy looks more like Brandon Cutler than Brawn Stroman. And it could be John Silver aswel.
I would have a field day spending all my money here
did Kevin Nash hold the big gold eagle title?
Lov volgs videos Matt 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 #majorwfpod
Not the OG wrestling guy store tho.
Italian? 😂
Damn I remember the wrestling buddies I had Kevin Nash sting and some others. But yeah the new ones are ugly with that black border.

@@gabepollock1641 I do agree with mostly everything, but Matt grew up pretty spoiled my guy. As did I..Just wanted to correct that part. 💯
