The best thing about Easy A is Aly Mickaelka
Can you watch "Detroit rock city" 1999
Top Secret, Crazy Stupid Love and Superbad are my personal top 3 all time favorite comedies...
fun fact: the loud "WTF!!" reaction from Emma Stone was genuine, because Seth actually accidentally headbutted her. They left it in the film
Thats incredible because, a good "WTF" is truly a good punctuation in a movie, when done correctly its always funny. So it being real, makes it all the better. Ive been watching this movie since it came out and that is a new fact to me....
Lmao didnt know that
Holy shit r u serious!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@juliafloreshernandez6854 yep, you can look it up :)
Seth? Isn't it Jonah who did it?
'Are there only 2 cops in this city?' Well, while they were at the bar, there was a call of an officer down that they turned off. Probably everyone went to that call.
Give what they heard over the radio, there might BE only 2 cops in the city NOW.🤣
Who even cares?? Honestly these guys react to shit like little pc kids
NEED BACKUP - THERE'S SO MUCH BLOOD!
And died at it
Lol oh ya the “there’s blood everywhere” part 🤣
I think everyone knows at least one person like Fogel
i wish
If not then it's you.
Because Steve Fogel is a real dude who Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg went to West Point Grey High with.
It is me... I am Fogel...
Yep… but before he became a badass
The older I get the funnier this movie becomes. Ages like fine wine.
Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg starting writing this movie when they were teenagers. By the time they were able to make it, they were too old to play the leads, so Rogan made himself the cop. Goldberg is strictly behind the camera. Jonah Hill wanted the role, and Rogan thought he was too old. Then he read for it (on the set of Knocked Up) and mailed it.
It's a shame that Seth went PC on us. He was hilarious.
@@psychedelicfright85 Absolutely, but at least he didn't go Jim Carrey on us, I grew up on his movies but now he's a lunatic.
@@DeusSalis oh I know. I thought the show he had on Showtime "Kidding", was a little odd. I hope this cultural depression of anti-comedy doesn't last forever. Radicals ruin everything.
Who'd he mail it too? 😉
What got mailed?
The ending at first felt wholesome. .but when i watched the entire thing again it ,it felt sad like, they're both going different ways , seperated from each other....
Very relatable for me as well.
I completed High School back in 2013, but all my friends I can count on one hand how many times I’ve seen them since then.
Hopefully our reunion in a couple years will be good.
@@RB01.10 good luck on that ..
Fr
It is a bittersweet ending but that’s what is so nice. It isn’t a perfect ending and that’s what makes it realistic. There was a video essay I watched a while ago on why Superbad is the best comedy and it points out so many of these things. It’s sad cause they are finally growing up and even though they will see each other again, they won’t see each other offer so it’s like a goodbye to being childhood bestfriend and figure out their new relationship.
@@RB01.10 same man I left in 2012. And I only speak to 2 of my friends
I love the scene where Seth is daydreaming about how to steal liquor from the supermarket that Fogel works at. And you all should absolutely watch Easy A.
You should watch Michael Cera's movie called Scott pilgrim vs the world. It's a really fun movie.
This!
I second that! One of my favorite movies ever!
Wish i could like this hundreds of times
Agreed. Scott Pilgrim definitely should be on the watch list.
just no, its really way weaker than trailer
The funny thing is Jonah really hated the guy playing mclovin in real life and didn't want to work with him but Seth and judd said that was a good thing since their characters supposed to hate each other anyways
For the guy playing Vogel (Christofer Mintz Please) it was the first role, he was 17 at that time. He absolutely nailed that role. Actually, everybody did. Amazing writing, jokes, execution.
So... the majority of this movie is based on real events that happened to Seth Rogan and the other main creator throughout there highschool years. This includes the period blood that goes on Jonah Hills leg. In Seth Rogans words "That is a real story, I wasn't the guy dancing, I was one of the guys on the couch"
In the same way that 80’s kids grew up on John Hughs movies like Breakfast Club I grew up on Judd Apatow films and Superbad PERFECTLY portrayed what life as a teenager in the 00’s was like.
We can forget about American Pie. Those movies were just an excuse to be raunchy for its own sake. Superbad was actually realistic when it needed to be and crazy when it needed to be with the cops. It’s all about the writing.
Sophomore year of high school, this movie was super relevant
*Hughes
I think the ending shows that you don't have to be with your best friend 24/7, it's OK to spend time with someone you're interested in too. If you don't then you won't gain independence or learn to be a grown up. They also finally started to spend time with the girls in the correct way, Seth realized that he was going too fast in his life by wanting to get hammered and sleep with a girl at such a young age
They got out of their comfort zones and are entering adulthood
@@user-wo3yd5ke4s Funny how they pretended to be adults to get beer, and the movie ended with them growing up to be one 🥲
Fun Fact: That headbutt was accidental. Jonah fell and actually hit Emma.
i swear michael cera isn’t ever casted as a character they just cast him to be himself. dudes ones of the most effortlessly funny people ever
Fun fact: I'm a translator, this movie was censored here, due to voice actors cursing so much for mere nothing.
One version of dubbing (uncut) was the best work I've ever seen in a movie. Still have it in physical media f**k this!
The PG-13 version was the worst work I've seen on translation and voice-overs.
I'm not old, but I was 18 when this movie was released. I'm 32 now!🤯🤯🤯 It'll always be a comedy classic!!!
I am 32, and this was the number one coming of age movie for our generation.
Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg wrote this movie....Seth and Evan
.
They also wrote the script when they were 13 yrs old
Michael Cera saying "I'm not... a piece of meat" near the beginning, 🤣🤣🤣🤣I was dead
Older movie but “Friday” is a movie you gotta consider one of the best when it comes to comedy 😂
You should totally check out Forgetting Sarah Marshall next!!!
Yes. No one has done a reaction to that movie yet.
That and I love you, man
Then Get Him to the Greek
@@LanceJ. Stroke the furry wall
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 There are a few.
You two should watch This Is The End together.😂
I was just about to say that. Thats a wild movie. Underrated
Fine comedy that isnt afraid to make a good joke at the expense of something else. I love this is the end, top 3 of the 2010s with hot tub time machine being the best comedy.
It really was the end for James Franco, the end of his career and friendship with Seth Rogan
this movie is amazing and funny, mclovin is the best
Yess so funny
38:05 yeah the ending is alot more wholesome then you would expect.
When people say it’s their first time watching SuperBad, I immediately assume they’re lying.
As was said at the beginning, many were probably too young to watch it when it came out in 2007.
14 years is a long time for a kid to grow up LOL
@@RB01.10 Yeah that doesn’t change my mind on what I said, and SHEESH y’all young af 😂, I had my first kid in ‘04.
The ending means they lost each other as best friends because they had all they were chasing and didn’t need each other anymore. They got what they wanted all along but they lost what they already had
In the commentary the actor for McLovin, his mom was there because he was actually under 18 during the making of the movie. You should go take a look at that there’s more info on that.
What the fuck
So she was watching the bed scene… what the fuck lmfao
@@brwnkd3795 well, she pretty much had to, because he was under 18
Thanks, Timothee! Thanks, Mellow! 😆 I loved SUPERBAD (2007) back in the day... it still holds up!!!
The 00s and early 10s, had so many of these super raunchy comedies. They made my 20s so great. Always something to laugh about, and nothing was off limits. Then, the PC train hit. Last year mainly, when some idiot... you know the story. This movie is a classic, along with the many others that we all know. Long live no holds barred comedy
You should watch ‘Step Brothers’ 2008 with Will Ferrell and John C Reilly
It my fav comedy ever it’s hilarious
I will never forget me and 2 friends watching this movie at the cinema, high as fuck :D
The mc lovin scene was filmed where I sit during lunch at school lol
I have no idea of the quality of the Goldslick, but it looks like the sort of lamp that was sold in all the stores back in the late 90s.
Also, that ending where they confess their love is so good. Especially ending on the "boop boop boop".
Seth wasn't supposed to actually hit Jewels towards the end. He did.
That was her real reaction.
*What are your thoughts on this film?!?*
great
What i think of the movie superbad🤔It's a great comedy movie with a Amazing cast of comedy actors🎬🎥👍
Michael Cera and Jonah Hill play off each other so well and so naturally like they've known each other for years. They are like my generations Abbot & Costello or Odd Couple. Great casting and a great comedy.
Great, you should check out Pineapple Express together too!
I thought it was funny but also has good insight on high school and moving on and growing up
29:26 Hey, Hey, it's you McMuffin 😂😂😂
One of the funniest lines, in ANY movie!
Yeah Easy A is a cute movie and what made me love Emma Stone. But it is more of a female high school comedy than a male focused comedy BUT IT ISNT typical chick flick comedy movie
Yup, Emma Stone was stuck in my head for a WHILE after Superbad came out - I graduated that year😂
My favorite combo on RUclips! Great reaction!
33:51 was actually real lol
36:21 he actually missed the car if you look closely, you can see it explode on the ground beside the car lol I never even noticed it until Seth Rogan mentioned it in a commentary
There’s so many great quick jokes that pass people’s heads lol.
This is the go to comedy I watch with my mom (besides the hangover) 😅 we just watched this reaction and loved every second of it . Never fails to make us laugh!
Dude this brings back so many memories. I loved this movie when I was younger
This is cool, duel reactors. Y'all have fun !!!
🎵Pizza in the morning Pizza in the evening Pizza at supper time When pizza's on a bagel you can eat Pizza any-🎶 aaaaaand y'all don't remember that
This movie is indeed the best. I remember first seeing this in theaters when it first came out and I was talking about the movie and recreating scenes with my friend at school. Good times.
OMG!!!! Finally Tim with Melverse!!!! 2 of my 3 favorite reactors! All you guys need now is to add brandonlikesmovies and it would be the holy trinity!
Love the collab!!! Wish we saw more around the community
I wasn't expecting this crossover. I didn't even know these two channels were in the same universe
Easy A was really funny. Haven't seen it in a while.
Jonah Hill and Emma Stone have amazing chemistry, they’re great friends in real life.
2 of my fav channels coming together. Nice
You were recommended to me and wow I'm glad, I love other movie reviewers but they don't watch a lot of shows I love, you kill it with all the ones I love
Harold and Kumar was another banger from this era I haven't seen enough reactions yet.
I was a fan of Sex Drive.
Waiting, an older Ryan Renolds comedy
You guys were a blast!
LMFAOOO I’ve seen this movie so many times and never thought of McLovin looking like Shrek 😂
"Year One" on Netflix reunites Fogel and Michael Cera, I feel like the Jack Black character could have been played by Jonah Hill
this was one of the best reaction videos to watch 🍿
Yesssir 😎
Great reaction! 😆 You guys should both react to "this is the end" it's ridiculously funny and has some of the same cast acting as themselves.
this is probably one of my favourite reaction videos lol
Great reaction man. This movie is a classic.
Thanksn
I love that you watched this with @mellverse cause I love him and this is one of my favorite comedies. I quote this movie on the regular 😂
Superbad: THE teenage movie.
Most ambitious crossover event!
Perfect team up, perfect movie. Let's go!!
Haha alot of scenes in this I forgot about so they made me laugh again.
I even seen another reaction to this before but the clips you included are different so they got me laughing hard.
I agree with the title, I've lost count of how many times I've watched this movie, so funny
First time I watched this, it lived up to its name. Going to the movies with others from youth group. So embarrassing but we all stayed til the end. 😂 😂
This movie is funny and honest. I love that combination.
Great reaction.
Fired Up!
It's literally been described as Superbad meets Bring it on
Love these two, love Superbad, love everying, godbless!
Great video ThimotheeReacts and MellVerse!!! I see that you reached 50.000 subscribers. You know what that mean right? Bring on the Good, bring on the Bad and bring on the Ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this movie. I’m glad you guys enjoyed it.
Dream team!! You two are just great. I hope we get a video where you two sit next to each other in real life :) Keep on being awesome
It’s really 2021 and grown men are watching Superbad for the first time. Wild
This movie is so damn good. Though I was a kid when it came out it’s so funny. I watched it as a junior in high school and it’s so good to rewatch it now that I’m an adult.
The teacher just knew that Seth was having a hard time and gave him a pass and let him partner up with Jules
I was in high school when this movie came out and boy was it accurate in so many ways of my childhood.
I don't think I've seen anyone react to Nacho Libre with Jack Black. Even though it's set in Mexico, I'm sure a French Canadian would still appreciate it. Or Jerod Hess' first hit Napoleon Dynamite would also be great if you haven't seen it.
I freaking love this damn movie. I can probably watch it everyday if I could lol
Extremely funny movie. So we’ll written it’s ridiculous
Awesome seeing Collabs on RUclips
Back in the good old days of the 80's...we had Industrial Arts class where we made stuff like bottle openers out of bar steel, ice scrapers out of plexiglass, gun racks and fishing rod holders and with the teacher's permission, we could make baseball bats and pretend guns for recess and the older kids were allowed to make sheath knives. We had Home Economics in high school, but I took Typing instead, so I could learn how to type faster to code the Commodore 64 in Gifted Class. When I was a senior, I took shop where we tore down and rebuilt tractor engines and painted cars and stuff for the county. It was pretty cool, but we mostly spent the time telling dirty jokes. A few of the kids in the class spent some time in juvenile hall for various things.
Tim, Mell, and Mr. Video need to do SOME type of collab all three of them because that’s what we need right now.
I love these crossover reactions!
Top Secret, Crazy Stupid Love and Superbad are my personal top 3 all time favorite comedies...
Superbad became more of a classic comedy than actual classic comedies
Mellow have been putting in work
Some good references for Vancouver, BC people here. Steve Fogel is a real guy they based the character McLovin off of. The Granville Street liquor store reference is great, because there used to be one near 15th Avenue. Christopher Mintz-Plasse butchers the pronunciation of Granville and comes off like a tourist, but that's fine. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Steve Fogel all went to West Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver and the local news TV channel (CTV News or Global News, I think) did a good story on the real Steve Fogel when the movie came out. The realism goes far beyond where you think it goes. Mr. Fogel took it well, but they destroy him in this movie hilariously. He's not quite that nerdy in real life, or he isn't now. 3 cheers for politically incorrect comedy!
Ohhh man the cracking voices 😂😂😂😂😂😂 good times
Yall both need to watch Scott Pilgrim together. I love the dynamic between you guys. Definitely need to do more collaborations in the future.
Watch Scott pilgrim please!!!! It has Michael cera and he’s amazing.
This movie will forever be hilarious 😭
Superbad is 🐐 of comedy.
When I saw it in the theater, I laughed my ass off. :)
This movie is incredible,i cant stop watching it once i start, its amazing
Superbad is the definition of the high school comedy genre
Work buddies saw my ID and I was branded with the name McLuvin forever. This movie is personal
The little girl who played young Becca is Laura Marano
"Ahhhh, McLovin, McLovin, McLovin, McLovin..."
Dude okay... two months ago an 18yo was coming on to me talking about taking me to Vegas (I'm 38)... I was like, "You're not old enough"... he told me he could get a fake I.D. 🤦🏼♀️
