I feel so sorry for her, she's a sweetheart, I am glad her owners are taking care of her and are proactive. Ear infections can be nasty, especially the ones that stem from from allergies. Rudy, may I ask if you have ever seen a dog whose left ear and left eye (or both right) were infected? Thank you
I came across this video from a year ago after watching various others on RUclips. Rudy I just have to say making a video to explain to people who complain about hygiene and gloves is exactly what is awesome about you! You absolutely know what you are doing and you always consider the experience for the dog. Keep up the wonderful work! I just had to say thank you!
I just can’t believe that some people can’t use common sense and realizes. I am a dog groomer and even before I went to learn about grooming dogs I already knew this. You did a great job. The animal is OK with what you’re doing which is the main part. Great job.
Maybe I missed it but I did not hear if this dog's ear had been cultured to determine the type of infection? Basically, has she seen a vet and what meds is she on? The ear flap looked like it had a secondary tissue infection possibly .Thanks!
Good eye! At the time this video was recorded we actually had just discovered the infection during this dog's scheduled appointment. Once the owners picked up at the end of the day we of course notified them that we discovered a slight infection and did our best to clear it but also suggested a vet visit to double check. We were told by the owners a few days later that the vet did in fact mention a possible secondary tissue infection. Very impressive observation on your part! Thanks for watching :)
Thank you for saying Beverly, I know some groomers will agree, and some will not,but I always try to execute the least amount of discomfort to the dog..Thanks again for saying..I'm sure you are an excellent groomer..
@@GroomingByRudy Absolutely. April the best groomer in the world allowed me to work with her as an apprentice. She didn't wear gloves for exact same reason, and explained to me in detail, as you just did. I'm back in Alabama, but my favorite time was in Florida was in her mobile grooming RV.
@@mszbdog1 I love it!! This is exactly what we need. Groomers, like April, and yourself, to teach, and show our technics to any that wants to learn..Wish I were in Florida now..Its cold in Jersey..lol..Thank you for sharing..
@@GroomingByRudy Oh yes me too. Cold in Alabama too. I hate anything under 60 degrees. April has taken on another apprentice now, she thinks the new girl is also a natural. I wish you could visit her in Florida, you would love her demeanor with animals. She has a rabbit for a client 😅
@@mszbdog1 let's stay in touch, maybe we can have you guys as guests on the podcast in the near future..We have few commitments to fulfill, if you would like.We can talk grooming...

Appreciate your kindness and concern about pain. You are the most gentle groomer in all of the groomer utubers. Thank you for doing a great job.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching
