    The view from the room shows a very beautiful garden. Such a yukata looks elegant, I like it. And I like the traditional Japanese architectural style. Sometimes it looks like the old houses in our country (which still exist) and sometimes completely different. I find it very exciting. Japanese fireworks are also very popular in our country. Especially in Düsseldorf, where there is a large Japanese community.

    Thank you for sharing this walk through history of Kinosaki Onsen Town. Your welcoming view of the garden was nice as well. In the room being served the food fresh, savouring it, I think you would feel as if you'd gone back in time, memories of the traditional street and Onsen's you'd visited waking up with you. Do you feel that way? You could sense the simplicity of placement, adding elegance. The Yukata also adds to that magic feeling. When you wore yours I thought I'd ask? Was the first time you wore a kimono as a child or did that happen for your coming of age ceremony. I was just curious. It's a style that has never faltered, one I find always makes the wearer, elegant, gracious and beautiful!! The town certainly had a lot of charm which you showcased pleasantly in your visit.!! I enjoyed spending time with you again. 🤗💕🤗

      Well, yukata and kimono are slightly different. check this out

      and probably I wore kimono when I was five or something because of this ceremony.

Do they have a door over the mirror to keep you from falling in, or to keep others from coming out? :-O Since you ask, I like living in a small town near a large city. What you call minimum amenities would be a lot in North America. lol We usually just get soap and shampoo in a hotel. Maybe some q-tips.

    Sorry for this silly question - how do you take bath in the public hotspring or onsen? Like, do people really open all clothings and go naked together? Or is it allowed to wear bathing suit? Thank you. I've been to Japan several times but I've never tried onsen.

    if we come together as a couple, can we relax together in the onsen, or is it seperate rooms for male and female? its not so easy if only one speaks a bit japanese.

    • @travelloveranna
      @travelloveranna  Год назад +1

      usually, male ad female are separated unless they have unisex onsen.

    It's interesting to learn that many onsen do not permit tattoos. Do people in Japan still think tattoos are only for criminals?
    It was like that in Australia until perhaps the 1990s but now they are very common.

      Oh, it was like that in Australia? In Japan, young people don't mind so much but elderly people may not be comfortable especially when they see the whole body.haha and naked

      Hi Anna.
      May I know the name of the Ryokan you planned to stay in the next visit to Kinosaki Onsen? I think you've mentioned that it was fully booked.
      I couldn't get to book at kimowa bekkan as it's full on my dates. Would be great to hear your recommendation pls. Tq.
