Lovely hotel and scenery. I liked the bath- the speaker seemed really handy to play scarlet fire out of. It all looked so calm, even with the deer hunting you for food.
I've been to Nara, and I laughed as other people were feeding the deer, which can get quite desperate at times and gang up on you. The deer there will bow to you when they think you have food. So cute! There is a private garden behind the Buddhism Museum that you can escape to get away from the deer, which looked gorgeous with Cherry blossoms when I went. Yukata is thin and it's for summer (you can wear it by itself=only the top). The materials of kimono are thicker and kimono has so many layers when you wear it.
Another well done video. I think you get to stay in some very special places. Are you working in the travel industry or is it due to your vlog? Thanks again for sharing this time with us.
I'm curious to see how busy these places get once tourism opens back up next month. Something appealing about a place like this and the quietness is that very few other people are around. Traditional house for me. While I love to look out over Tokyo from some tall skyscraper, and can watch for hours, home needs to be old style warmth. Glad you mentioned the deer food... I would probably have tasted it. =-)
@@travelloveranna If I do, I will let you know. =-) I took a look back at the video, I did not see any english on the package, so I figured its some sort of deer themed snack. Knowing me, I'd probably think its a dry cracker and just eat it since I do like plain dry whole wheat type crackers occasionally.
Normally Nara is much less visitors than Kyoto. There is a bus coach from Kansai International Airport to Nara. If you use train from Kyoto, you have to change at Osaka. Nara is oldest capital city in Japan.
I used the safe once before in Canada to lock up my camera. Unfortunately, the lock broke and we had to get the in-house locksmith to open it. :) Here, where I live, there are hardly any old houses. They were almost all destroyed in the 2nd World War. The food looked very appetising. Yukata in shades of red, of course. :) Sometimes the camera is too fast for me.
Hi, I have some question regarding the reservation of the property to stay in my upcoming Nara trip. Why does the reservation allows 1 person and not 2 persons for 2 nights reservation on a room that can accommodate 1-3 people?

Love this. What a decent hotel. My the deer are conditioned to get food from people lol. I haven’t been to either city, so I have no idea which is better :) One day I do hope to visit japan. Live confidently and peacefully. If you can, do something kind for someone
Quick question 🧐. Would it be considered rude if I were to visit an Onsen Hot Spring and just jump in cannonball style? I have several health ailments and I know the springs are supposed to be medicinal. 🤷
That's a beautiful hotel, but $230 for a single night is pretty expensive. I'm planning to travel to Japan in 2 or 3 years. So maybe I'll stay there a night. It definitely looks like a unique experience. But I have a question. Did you have a friend with you or did you have to share the dinner/breakfast table with a stranger? That would be really awkward. And regarding your yukata question I'd say the purple (lilac) yukata looked better.
@Sarah Shea is it really that bad in America? I'm german and I visited a couple other countries and I never had to worry about security/safety. And I never had to pay $230 for a single night.
@@travelloveranna I definitely never stayed in a hotel like this, so maybe it's normal price for it. I stayed in multiple hotels in my life so far and not a single one was this expensive. I looked up some hotels to stay in in Japan and I even found 5 star hotels that cost under 1000€ for 6 nights. Tbf it's only with breakfast, but that's enough for me. It seems to be a normal price for Ryokans tho.
@@travelloveranna ok, so I shouldn't have it compared to a normal hotel but to ryokans. I didn't think of it as a ryokan, because it just looked like a normal hotel from the outside.
They are beautiful but I wish humans wouldn’t infringe on nature and let these animals be wild. This is what happens when wild animals depend on humans for food, they forget how to be wild. Then they starve and die off. Makes me sad.

Nara is oldest capital city in Japan.
very nice place to stay, love the scenery and environment, so Japan and relaxing
Yes, thank you
I really enjoy your videos! I do have one question. What was that flashing red light before the fireflies? Please keep making these wonderful videos!
I didn't check it carefully (and it was dark) but it was a small house/spot for the cops staying or something. but I didn't see any cops at that time.
@@travelloveranna Thank you very much for answering! :)
This looks so beautiful ❤️💕 Maybe I should go Kyoto instead of Osaka 🤣 First time going to Japan in March 2023
Oh nice! I hope you will like Japan. And this is in Nara :)
Oh, really? The lock broke? :/
Did I move so fast? sorry :/
Hi, I have some question regarding the reservation of the property to stay in my upcoming Nara trip. Why does the reservation allows 1 person and not 2 persons for 2 nights reservation on a room that can accommodate 1-3 people?
hmm...I am not the person from the hotel or OTA that you use :/
I love You So 🙏👍
:)
0:35 Yes, it's the biggest Japanese city currently without Shinkansen.
So true :/
❤️❤️❤️
:)
I can't believe the hotel passed up the opportunity to have an origami deer.
good point!
so much nicer than the hotel i stayed in. thanks! Has the converted prison hotel opened yet?
Which hotel?? this? www.timeout.com/tokyo/news/japans-oldest-prison-soon-to-be-turned-into-a-luxury-hotel-062222#:~:text=While%20prison%20sounds%20like%20the,hotels%20in%20Japan%20come%202024.
@@travelloveranna that's the one!
@@panathenaea I didn't know this!
@@panathenaea It seems that there's a tour to take a look this prison before turing into a hotel! I hop i can make it!
Love this. What a decent hotel. My the deer are conditioned to get food from people lol. I haven’t been to either city, so I have no idea which is better :) One day I do hope to visit japan. Live confidently and peacefully. If you can, do something kind for someone
I hope you can visit here soon :)
Is there a hotel like this in Osaka?? Please make a video like this for Osaka too 🥰
hmm...Osaka :D let me check ;)
I just can't handle the Mask thing, and outside in the open, just crazy
You dont need to wear it outside.
Quick question 🧐. Would it be considered rude if I were to visit an Onsen Hot Spring and just jump in cannonball style? I have several health ailments and I know the springs are supposed to be medicinal. 🤷
I don't think you should jump in an onsen because it's shallow xD
@@travelloveranna okay 👍.
Don't want to embarrass or hurt myself
Hi Anna, I was beginning to wonder if you actually speak? 🤔
It took a bunch of running deer to get you to speak! 🤣
Have you ever been to America?
Haha yes, I said "omg" xD
Yes, I used to live in the US
i'd so stay there, i love traditional japanese hotels. price is too high though, 33,000 yen per person ahhhh (usd is like what $330)
Do you think it's expensive even if it includes that dinner and breakfast?
Hello, can I travel with you?❤
hehe xD
Let’s do a photoshoot sometime
good :)
Oh deer.
haha good one!
oh my ... deer?
hah good one!
Dangerous drinking game: Take a shot every time you see a deer.
haha no way! you will get drunk before going back to the hotel.
Yes, it was my friend :D
And 2 meals are included. Do you think it's expensive?? they are really nice :)
@@Prochaska97 Yes, because Ryokans usually serve good 2 meals, so the price tends to be high :D
@@travelloveranna ok, so I shouldn't have it compared to a normal hotel but to ryokans. I didn't think of it as a ryokan, because it just looked like a normal hotel from the outside.
Type?
They are beautiful but I wish humans wouldn’t infringe on nature and let these animals be wild. This is what happens when wild animals depend on humans for food, they forget how to be wild. Then they starve and die off. Makes me sad.
Ahhh true. They are wild but these deer got used to get some food from humans already :/
