  • I gathered parts for a desired 'Sleeper' build. I took advantage of the workshop space available at the time. 72 hours later I had produced a proper little road rocket. An exciting project completed pre RUclips. My future projects will be more film and less still.
As a self-taught home mechanic, I service and repair my own cars, documenting my progress in hopes of inspiring others to do the same.
Please watch, like and subscribe to show your support.
I fit this in around my full-time caree and family commitments. My workspace is limited znd mostly outdoors. An aspiration of mine is to expand and have a workshop of my own.
Join me on this journey. Hopefully we will grow together in friendship and experience.
I cherish this escape as "me time" and believe it keeps my mental health in check.
    Thank you for joining me.

      I had a big soft spot for this R100. I was like a go-cart.

Mate, I had a metro chairman, and 2 rover metro 115 diesel's, I was going to convert the chairman to a diesel from the 1.1 carb, in the end rust and vandal's finished off the project and the 2 diesels went to the scrap yard, the chairman went to a chap who promised to restore it, never to be heard from again.

@@RRRCUK well, there's a lot of us oldie's, we like to see genuine great engineering, and when you said that you could eat your dinner off it, I agreed with you, my dinner too pal 👍🏾

I've done an MOT history check. I hope it is being looked after. No longer showing on the road...

A really good one is hard to find now. Rust got into them. It just couldn't be tamed

@@RRRCUK a friend of mine still has his, it was a complete strip down to bare metal and full rust treating. But it's more of a classic car show piece now, not sure how Metros became classics 😂

@@insomniacbritgaming1632 I would build a mk1 metro. Even maybe a turbo? But a well presented classic will always get my vote.

Horrible to think that MG owners are quite prepared to steal from one another.
