    Holy smokes! I need a flow chart to figure out which chili is which and all the different names they become depending on their ripeness. As usual, Rachel did an excellent job explaining them all.

      @paulafigueroa1573 2 года назад +5

      Excuse me you do not need a chart. You just buy them, one by one, and cook them, eat them and then you will have to remember that kind, because by then you already had it in your food.

    You are awesome! I learned where Chile Morita came from. It is a dried up Jalapeño pepper! Wow! You are so informative & explain things so well. Thank you. You must be a teacher. Are you from The RGV? I was born there although moved to California over 35 years ago. So glad you have this site. Please tell your Ron we are most grateful for all his great work filming you & presenting your show. He's an 😇 angel helping 💖 his lovely wife. We ❤️ both of you!

    Thanks to Rachel. I love her recipes and "tutorials". I make a lot of Mexican food...since I married ONE. My mother-in-law taught me some dishes...but she died some years ago. I consider Rachel...a surrogate...because I didn't take advantage of all the dishes I could have learned and now She is gone. I am "early" retired and have plenty of time to experiment/play/learn about other Mexican dishes...and Rachel is "my girl"...now. She is "the next best" source of recipes. My mother-in-law didn't measure...I DO. I appreciate that Rachel has adapted these videos for those of us who aren't "Mex".😊😊So...bless her...for that, too.💖💖

    Since this video is at least a year old I am not sure you will ever see this post. However, I had to say thank you, Rachel for sharing your knowledge about chilies with me. I live in South Carolina now but I am originally from central Ohio. Since the 90’s I have been in love with Mexican cuisine and love to make recipes that are authentic and original to Mexico. Most Americans think that TexMex is real “Mexican” cuisine but I know that this isn’t true. I am so glad to have found this channel and love the way you make a dish seem so simple and easy to follow. Love the videos and can’t wait to see what else you create for your viewers. God bless.
