I like the monarch rule, but feel it should be tweaked. All civs get 5 crowns that need to be captured to beat them. Each landmark is a crown and first time it's destroyed that enemy gets +10 pop (landmark can be rebuilt but lost its crown). The monarch is the fifth crown and gives +10 pop when he/she's killed (cannot be revived). Killing the monarch doesn't automatically end the game it, but it does prevent that civ from rebuilding any landmark. If all a civ's landmarks have lost their crown (destroyed at least once, even if rebuilt) and the monarch is alive, the monarch's location is updated on the minimap every 30 seconds.
Basically a civ needs to lose all their landmarks at least once and have their monarch killed to fully lose. Players have incentive to go after vulnerable landmarks at least once

I played a game yesterday and a green OOTD murdered all of my villagers before I could put up a TC. Probably was beasty
It's a bit sad that the mode that truly goes well with nomad, megarandom, isn't really in the nomad mode...

Do you know what is the hotkey to find prelates? Since the last patch I dont see the toggle on the side showing how many I have and I can click on there to find them
Bind your cycle through religious units key, it helps loads getting relics too.

I like the balance changes for nomad but I don't like the increasing pop or xbox players being there to be farmed for free. Also the map pool for FFA is a joke, there are so many maps that make no sense for nomad. I like that there are multiple maps for regular FFA tho, but even there maps like mountain pass and hill and dale are just weird
What are these 1,2,3 groupings for all units in all your videos...can you explain?
He made guide videos about a year ago where he explains his techniques. I believe the groupings are in there.

Just means someone got 4 kills. Each kill gives +50. 200 default cap + 200 from kills = 400 but not enough houses = 360.

The tournament stuff is overated and boring to watch. This is much better.
Sounds fun but in reality this mode will be dead soon. If you are not godlike, you will have better experience playing against AI than here. I played like 4 games, outcomes were either getting rushed in age2 and having to fight for 10+ min, ruining both our chances or just booming alone in a corner and then losing to a wonder or a 200knight raid.
I no longer watch drongo videos. His latest video he posted was so sad. His commentary is disgustingly annnoying and he’s become so toxic. Not sure what’s going on with that guy

why ya sharing that here tho? seems kinda like you tryn to start drama and beasty hates drama. if you wanna give drongo feed back go leave it on his channel or discord or something. if this is just some really backwards complement towards beasty just say you enjoy his vids
i cant help to think that the king things just encourage people to snipe which is one of the most unfun things in the game
It speeds up the FFAs which I like. I think we have to let the meta settle a bit. It’s pretty clear it dramatically shakes up relative civ strength compared to w/o dominion condition (ie English is strong for keep landmarks and mongol sucks now when it used to be able to cockroach in the corner for 2 hours). I’ve played 12 games and got smoked in all of them but it was still fun lol

I think when you kill a king that is white (player surrendered) you dont get the +50. My last game it didnt go up when i killed a neutral king even though on the right it said it did.
Beasty, if you shoot deer then move with your villagers they wont be trapped in the shooting animation. Honestly im surprised I figured this out and you dont do it. 4:35
