It was one of the best concerts that I went to at the University of Miami in the spring of 1970. The mikes were turned off because of curfew and the band continued to jam with us. Our spirit provided the electricity.

WOW! Have loved them since the late 60's and am STILL horrified that 50-100 bands with less talent made it and IABD got the short end of the stick. GAH! David, and everyone else, thank you. You made an immense contribution to the good, throughout the world, including mine (Don Reed 10-21-22).

Before Beautiful Day, David LaFlamme graced the dulcet tones of Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks.

Saw them live in Des Moines Valley junction Collesium 1995?
Patti rocked the stage with an energy that equalled Tina Turner.

Their eponymous first album is a hard-to-find classic! When I saw them in concert, Dave said that their song “White Bird” was about a chicken they were cooking.

Shame that Linda Laflamme number 1 had already left the band. Her contribution to the first album can best be measured by listening to the second album.
