People, before you buy a Samsung device, you should read what I write here: I bought a Samsung flagship device a year ago and miraculously, a few days after the device's warranty expired, the device's microphones burned out, the repair requires a screen replacement at a cost of $500. Unfortunately Samsung was not willing to test the device free of charge and certainly not fix it even though there is a serious bug in their devices.
The thought of bringing this phone anywhere near a beach gives me anxiety... I would love to get this phone but I'd be too worried about things getting caught between the screens and hinge.
Reviews everywhere keep saying it's affordable but in South Africa it costs an arm and leg. There's even exclusive launch parties with local influencers. Love the device though
Just got mine a couple of weeks ago. I love this phone! Can't really explain why, but, I just love the display and feel of the zflip 4. I also have an S22 Ultra but prefer my flip 😀
I think the flip makes way more sense than the fold , The fold comes with a lot more compromises given the expectation it is supposed to be a power users device , but imo it has some very serious short falls for that particular title . The thing that worries me more about these devices is how long they will last , less so on the flip because it is more likely once the novelty factor wears off to be just that very nice convenient little device to keep on your person and use when the occasion arises , but not use it like a power user would . The fold on the other hand , early on samsung inferred it would be the replacement for the note , but imo other than having extra screen real estate it does fall short in certain areas i think . And for the reasons i mentioned regarding power users i still have my doubts about its (the fold 4) longevity with the folding screen .
I am always happy about the apple eco system but i can't resist the flip 4 and grabbed one. I am enjoying it so far. The best thing is the battery. I thought it would be the same problem as what i heard with flip 3. The battery is the only thing that made me get this one because i heard so many negative review with flip 3 battery.
Over 1.3 TB of video, music and games on my old s9+... no money to Samsung till they get the storage problems fixed. How can a 9th gen galaxy have more storage than phones in 2022?
I'm considering this phone, looks like a very comfortable phone. + perfect for shallow or small pockets, gym bag pockets + easier to pull it out of the pocket while sitting, u have more flexible hips + flex mode awesome for taking selfie photos when traveling alone + flex mode good for lying in bed and watching some youtube without trying to find something to lean phone against + flex mode good for browsing while phone on the table, no need to lean forward and over the phone + when folded answering a call automatically puts it on loud speaker, when u unfold it it changes to earphone + no need to always unlock and stare at the phone for notifications that can draw u in and u end up using the phone just too much + it's different - no dust protection - battery could be a bit better - cover screen could be bigger, some day will be
I know you are doing the right thing for testing the device in all most common scenarios, including gaming, and we thank you for your thoroughness, but this baby, who ever gets it, didn't get it for gaming. Just like with PCs, there is only one category of machines, if geared towards a certain use scenario, can easily cover and perform in every other scenario, that of course being gaming. A gaming PC can do everything, from spreadsheets (who says spreadsheet now a days anyways?) to graphic design. Good Galaxy z4
battery capacity average. no 8k video.
cant wait to flash myself in the eyes whenever I turn the flashlight on from the small screen
After 1 year the battery "made great improvement" from 3300mAh to 3700mAh? Are you kidding me Samsung? Sounds like a rip-off to me.
Yes what a joke 2022 with 3700 mah really?? For dual screen flip phone it would be cost alot battery consumtion
Actually, what makes the most difference is the new processor, which is said to be 30% more battery efficient than previous generation, and even more than the one used by the Flip 3, the Snapdragon 888.
So how much u need 6000 ? Then choose RoG phone
Its hard to increase battery capacity while maintain that compact form... Remember samsung note 7 ? They explode cause battery too much to Fit that form
Actually Z Flip 4 battery life is better than S22 Ultra which has 5000mah
the new sd8 gen 1 for zflip4 is an improvement from the s22ultra one... That's why the battery on zflip4 is so good.. the battery might be last long like s22plus
Damn we in z flip 4😑
Overpriced😒
Hmmm screen got problems that’s a no no
