Very informative, just wanted to say I have work with Mr Clarke for over 5 years in the airline industry, he is a manager or a boss that will get the job done, very friendly, very professional, polite and will get the job done, he find solutions for any situation or issues that you ran into , that's one of meany straight that he was able to carried out every day at work, I am happy to work with him for over the years, and proud to called him my mentor, a boss , a friend and most importantly a father figure. You will never be disappointed doing business with Mr Clarke.
Thanks for your program. Jamaica is appealing in that one can get financing whereas in other places in the Caribbean it’s not as easy and sometimes not even possible. That said, I’m considering other places because Jamaica does not cater to retirees. I say that because the discussions never seem to focus on what retirees need: excellent healthcare options, ease of travel in and around the community, close to shopping, walkability, physical activity options, low costs of living etc,. I don’t see any vlogs focusing on retiring in Jamaica. Yes there are many promoting buying a property. But there are other concerns for retirees besides the house.
Some real estate attorneys in JA think that a cash purchase means that they can use the client’s funds for their benefit until it’s time for the closing. The client’s funds are NOT held in an interest-earning escrow account until closing. BE CAREFUL OF TRANSFERRING CASH TO AN ATTORNEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING PROPERTY! Once you give your attorney the funds, they have no incentive to push the transaction along quickly. Stay on top of them and don’t hesitate to report an attorney to the GLC!
Excellent information presentation. This is beyond helpful for a Atlantan-Jamaican thinking of purchasing property in Jamaica. Many questions answered, but so many still unanswered. Let's continue this conversation. Thanks a million!
Great interview Throp, I’ve learned a lot from this gentleman, he’s very knowledgeable. I can tell you knowledge is power. I have to share this video! 👍🏽👍🏽❤️❤️
I’m glad that you’re American, Throp. 😅 You asked Aubyn the right questions. I’ve been wondering about how to buy real estate in Jamaica from the U.S. Also, African Americans have been rapidly moving to Africa (mostly Ghana), Jamaica and Costa Rica. This video has a wealth of information. Many thanks to you and Aubyn. 👏🏽 🇺🇸
I will second that with no apologies Jamaica is in deed the best place to live for I and I bar non just from a on ground experience and respect with a healthy balance.
Every financial goal requires patience, dedication and consistent spirit knowing that investment is currently the most lucrative business in the world. both NFT, real estate, Stocks and Crypto is positively changing people's lives. I stopped panicking about the market the very moment I started working with Josef Dennis last year, his confidence and skills is on a maximum level….
Always backup your trading with a good strategy, else the bear market will hit you so hard, and you might wake up losing your saving, that's crypto for you.
I never had the opportunity to benefit until i meet Josef Dennis. that's when i started earning real good at first I invested 3BTC and earned 10.5BTC in just 2months of trading
I was so big on gold and Silver but a few months ago I discovered Bitcoin and Ethereum. Listening to lots of stuff from Josef Dennis. has been really helpful in my journey.
My first investment with Josef Dennis gave me a profit of over $70K and ever since then he has never failed to deliver and I can even say he is one of the sincere brokers I have known.
You can actually get a HELOC from your US bank to purchase property overseas, this can be done because they will be using the equity in your US property as collateral for the line of credit which you can then use to buy that overseas property for cash.
Awesome contents, these two persons are bringing so much value to our community/ our country I can't even find words to express how I am thankful for for both you guys good stuff continue the good work !!
A conversation that not only peaked interest but has given a greater sense of buyer confidence, where real estate in JamRock is concerned.. Thank you Winthrop
Super informative. I was excited to watch this because I kept seeing St. Aubyn's name and photo on the remax site everytime I browse for Negril properties. It's the only real estate site that has any listing for Negril or close to there at the moment.
Another very useful video from Bro Throp. I will use a part of this video or another in a seg of the Black Economic Network. However, we need an Afrikan & Diasporan Web (platform) so we will not have to continue being totally dependent on internet platforms owned by the other races. They can cut off any one of us or censor anyone whose message they consider to be a threat to their business among Afrikans & Diasporans. I started my crusade for the Afrikan & Diasporan Web (platform) in BEnetwork Video 36 and continue to update my proposal in later episodes. Pls help me spread this message & participate in building this platform when we find an organization to manage this project, (such as the ADDI or ADN or another Pan-Afrikan business oriented organization.) Afrika 4 the Afrikans @ Home & Abroad. United we stand, But divided we fall.!! ✊🤘
I am a business owner but my spirit has always been with slow country living and raising my children with a different type of respect and understanding of living life and I plan on buying land to live and to start a farming business to give back to to the community. I really believe God sent this video to me because I want even looking for this but I was sitting and mapping out my business plan and what problems I want to solve or how I want to give to the community that I move to. How can I get in contact with you both?
In the US now the economists are predicting a cooling and major price decrease in some markets. What about Jamaica? Is the market still hot? It’s cooling here. Builders are pulling back.
New subscriber here, firstly thanks for all the great content. Great discussion and very insightful. You mention at the end of the video about developments of 10 to 20 units. How open are the government to granting planning permission for these sorts of developments? For example the conversion of single units into a handful of studios/1beds? Is this sort of thing welcomed by the local authorities? Keep up the great work Throp!
The process to buy and transfer home and lands need to be simplified ,what are these lazy Jamaican politicians doing to help make people life easier, how long must we as citizens go through the foolishness to get from point a to z
Actually Gregory…..that’s incorrect….you can take out equity/money out of your property via a process called Refinancing…..this process is often through your lending institution….refinancing is what I use to get from one property to now 7, with 4 being in Jamaica. It’s all about keeping an open mind and learning and you will see that real estate investing is a real viable way to build wealth. Blessings
I’d say if you don’t have your Jamaican citizenship get that asap. It’s just good to have and very easy to get. As St. Aubyn mentioned banks sometimes run Jamaican only rate specials

You are so correct. Some of these people are white-collar criminals. I don't trust any of them unless they are referred by someone.

A valuation is the same as an appraisal in the states. A home inspection is different.

Urbanisation on an island should be considered in a sympathetic way. No highrise building, huge roads etc. That is aggressive development.
It's nice that your property goes up in value, but you don't make a penny till you sell it.
