Throp you always get the lovely intelligent people on your show. She answered the question about the violence. I never worry about the violence because I don't mix or party at all just mind my business and live. Thank you.
I have worked downtown Kingston back in the days, I was very impressed while I was there recently. Driving around, I felt safe and comfortable going to different places in Kingston. Excellent video, very informative ❤❤❤
Love your program! Excellent reporting on the progress of Jamaica land we love. You should do a collab with "Jamaica with Irie." She is an Ukrainian now loving in Jamaica that is also doing an excellent job of reporting on Jamaica and Jamaicans.
I just want to thank you so much for all the invaluable information you provide the viewers. I love the place we bought in Montego Bay, and your tips helped to make it seamless, even doing the transaction from Canada.
Props to the government of the day. Can you imagine how the country would look today If we had this kind of economic management of the country over the last 25 years.
She made an error with the name of the FID, she said it's the Federal Investigation Department; that's not the correct name of the FID. It's correct name is Financial Investigation Division.
Downtown Kingston's development is very encouraging. In terms of safety, what people don't realize is that the residential population has shrunk every year for at least a decade now. People have been moving out to Portmore and different places. It has helped to reduce crime significantly as the days of the overcrowded living situations (remember 'tenement yards'?) seems to be gone. I remember 20 years ago when I worked downtown, there were always a lot of people around, hanging out or hustling in the streets day or night. Now you can go for many blocks and barely see anybody. It's hard to have high crime when people just aren't there anymore. It's going to take a while for it to lose its bad reputation, unfortunately.
@@ingababy5196 If that is true, then they have gone to seek the protection of family and friends. I live in the country and I can tell you, everybody knows each other in these communities or they are related. Criminals don't just pick up themselves and move to a strange area. That is an issue Jamaicans are in deep denial about. How much support these criminals get from the community. Far easier to blame the politicians or the police.
There is a sinister practice here in jamaica whereby local jamaicans are being denied access to their beaches ***Please, please please sign the petition against beach apartheid in jamaica***
Jamaica is a Democratic Island and not a dictatorship. Our forefathers namely heroes and heroine Nanny fought for us to be emancipated from slavery and colonization. The colonizers extract all the rich and profitable resources out of Jamaica to build up their country, and now they're after our Beaches, we would be really stupid to sit back as Jamaicans by birth an d allow this to happen in 2023. Before God and all mankind we pledge our love and loyalty for this land and we will not allow this to happen on this Eternal Land that we were blessed with. Jamaicans, please sign the petition NOW!

Yea there is a boom but for whom ! Is the system making it possible for the 95 % of people who are of African descendants getting the opportunity to also be able to benefit from it ! My cousin in Canada just bought a house in a gated community in Jamaica and he said it was only one Jamaican who never traveled that own a house everyone else are either foreigners are returning repats from Canada , America and the UK and it dawn on him that something is wrong about that picture and people want to say how teacher nurses and other professions are leaving the island , well no wonder because they can’t even afford to buy a damn house ! Hmm 🤔
Foreigners also moved en-masse to Portugal and the locals were no longer able to afford houses. There are demonstrations in Portugal now about the country's housing crisis. Pricing out local Jamaicans is at the peril of these housing projects, you will get the same backlash in a few years if only foreign money is the one able to purchase these properties.
The Jamaicans should protest and demand that certain properties are to be built only for the citizens of Jamaica at an affordable cost to them. Foreigners/investors should not be allowed to purchase them. That would be the right thing to do.
The sewage issue in Downtown needs to be fixed before anymore development is done. Raw sewage is flowing in the drains , into the Harbour and sometimes overflows onto the roads. It's unsanitary, it stinks and it's terrible for the environment.
They aren't selling them at this stage, Jamaica is being taken over. Every decent looking property is being snapped up by companies like Blackrock, for a certain group of people who want to have the most beautiful places in the world for themselves. People of Jamaica soon will be locked out of the most beautiful beach spots, sights via pricing/gentrification.
Ok so as far as rural living goes the more rural the more crime unfortunately.I lived in westcliff ten years I was personally not affected ,but my neighbors had some terrible incidents ,with or without security guards ,dogs ,fenced property ,alarms. BUT treat the community with respect you will have a much better chance of peace of mind

Fix the systemic government corruptions, and the archaic European style class system on the island; then and, only then will the violence/crime issues see signs of resolution.
I appreciate you and your content < Technical Analysis is good but I find It truly baffling that major crypto youtubers just look mostly at pure T.A and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumps/pumped and why the future outlook will be even rosier than it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. More emphasis should be put into day trading as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. I have made over 14 btc from day tradng with Amelia Estelle Prounis insights and charts.she has been one step ahead of other analysis…
