How to Make a Simple Blaze XP Farm for Java & Bedrock (1.20.6 and Down) | Minecraft Farm Tutorial

- How to make a quick and "easy" blaze rod and XP farm for Java and Bedrock Editions (also MCPE, Xbox, PS4 & PS5, etc.). This XP bypasses mod cramming rules, and gives double the XP as other XP farms do, and is also easy to build due to the consistency of finding a blaze spawner (as opposed to finding a zombie or skeleton spawner for example). Adjustments can be made to the farm to make it have more features, but this is the base design that works decently well, especially for an early-game world.

This works so well man, great job! You earned yourself a sub for sure :D
Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words
I love your explanation style! And now I see you've released a new video-- headed over there now! I was going to ask about lava but it looks like that one has it. :)
Thanks so much! Ya I felt like I should get a faster design out there to give people the option between a more expensive, faster design or a cheap, slower design
This was so helpful, ty! Didn’t know the thing with the ladders 🤯
Glad I could help! Ya the ladder trick is super convenient too, though seemingly it only works with blazes (as opposed to like skeletons) which is unfortunate
Great video
lol the panic placing torches really made me laugh
Epic video😍I appreciate.seriously i love You're content👌You are going great💓keep it up✈️good luck🤟👌....
I love this design! I was wondering if you know if the funnel is more efficient than just using lava to push them?
So lava is more efficient (as well as using pistons), but only for like the first 5 minutes of AFK'ing. Pushing them into the kill chamber faster doesn't make the spawner spawn faster, so after a long time the amount in the kill chamber will be the same. I just did a raw funnel since dealing with lava in survival (or hardcore) seemed to have too much risk for the reward, as well as takes longer to build
Edit: After working with new designs I think it would take more like ~10 - 20 minutes to even out; however, lava alone I have found makes them get stuck on each other in the middle so adding pistons as well can make it speed up significantly. I would say the modification is more worth it if you AFK for shorter bursts of time rather than one long period of time
@@ZennsWorld just use a fire res potion
I like living life on the edge
Thanks for the very helpful video. Probably a dumb question, but as you kill the blazes, are you standing close enough to collect the blaze rods?
Not all of them but some of them. Unless you are doing something extremely intense with them I find you get enough for whatever you'll use them for (potions mainly)
@@ZennsWorld Sounds good. I'm going to build this thing.
Nice, let me know how it goes
If u really need them all you can put soul sand as the platform that they land on and put hoppers under it
If you build this, fire resistance potions are yes.
does it spawn when i stand at the killing area? or do i have to build something to go up and watch them throught that glass?
The spawner only works from so far away so you need to build a thing to take you up closer to the spawner. The spawner will do the spinning thing when you are in range. The kill zone I believe is out of range
The blazes kinda hang around in the lower part but wont go down to the killing chamber. What should i do??
Ya this is common with this design, there are a few things you can do: you can add lava to push them into the middle faster, or you can add pistons in a spiral to get them in the middle faster (I can't post images of that here but I have some in the discord). If you AFK long enough then they push themselves into the kill chamber pretty quickly, but you have to AFK for a while. The reason I didn't add one of the above into the video is because it makes the design much more complicated for the (usually) small payout that you get, though these additions do speed up the blazes falling into the kill chamber quite a lot (though has no effect on the blaze spawning rate)
@@ZennsWorld oh okay thank you. Pretty good farm tho still i couldnt find any dungeons in overworld so i'll use this until i get an enderman farm
ill try this and let you know how mine works it may not be exactly the same
Thanks! Ya definitely let me know
can i put 2 spawners in here?
If you have the means, sure. Place them above each other for maximum spawning area
It seems that the blazes arent coming down to the killing chamber often even when afking... is there a way to fix this?
Are you standing close enough to the spawner? Or are they getting stuck in the funnel?
@@ZennsWorld I've managed to fix it. I do have another question though: how long should I be AFKing at a time?
I AFK for like an hour and make food or something which is usually more than enough unless I am aggressively enchanting everything. It will work faster than other XP farms made with a spawner
@@ZennsWorld Thank you so much!
No problem
i´d love to know how fast you get from level 0 to level 30 without trying it out myself xd
I'm not 100% sure, but around 20 minutes or so (though it depends on how many blazes are in the funnel and other modifications to the design one might have)
Does this still work, and will this work on ps4?
I dont see why it wouldn't. Just be careful
@@ZennsWorld thx. :)
Does anyone know if this works in bedrock? Or just java?
It should work on Bedrock as well as far as I am aware
Can I get a materials list?
Just some blocks (I used glass and an opaque block but thats not required) and like 4 ladders
@@ZennsWorld I just winged it. Almost died in my hard-core lmao. They spawned anyway. I am currently AFK, seeing how much I get
minecraft xqc
idk i like the run up and beat them up method
