Synopsis: Season six returns following the battle between brothers which has left Bjorn victorious and a hero to the people who have been under the tyrannical rule of Ivar for so long. As the new leader of Kattegat, Bjorn struggles to fill his late father's shoes as king, while facing several dilemmas and wrestling with the idea that power overshadows morals.
Meanwhile, Ivar, searching for a new path to separate him from his past, is seen traveling along The Silk Road eventually leading him to Russia. He meets his match in Prince Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky), a ruthless and unpredictable Russian ruler, who shocks even Ivar with his merciless actions. While Lagertha has her own agenda - to live a quieter and less public life on her own farm, but new dangers lurk close to home. This season, the Vikings continue to take over Scandinavia as Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) and Torvi (Georgia Hirst) travel to Iceland to uncover the mystery circling around Floki's (Gustaf Skarsgård) disappearance and Hvitserk (Marco Ilsø) pursues his personal vendetta against Ivar.

Ivar has poisoned the drink at the start. When he says he thinks a sacrifice has already been made, that means he's killed the King because of his own ambition. Bjorn is alive, the end of the last episode when Ivar 'killed' Bjorn was metaphorical. I highly doubt the Saxons come to back Bjorn, but possibly Rollo. Unless there is some plot twist such as Swedes come to help out, because in real history Bjorn Ironside became King of Sweden. Will be interesting to see what happens!
Your prediction is pretty accurate. I hope the same thing happens.
Keep in mind that when most jarls and earls refused to fight for Harald Bjorn told Erik to summon them to fight in his name. What I fear is that Bjorn will surrender to be killed by the Rus to achieve martyrdom just like Ragnar did so his people will fight to avenge him. I'm also pretty sure Bjorn will die in the first episode of 6b

The battle from the previous episode where Ivar killed Bjorn was only in Bjorn’s head. He was playing in his head the all the possible scenarios as he was trying to think like Ivar for him to make a better counter plan hence the title, “best laid plans”. And remember when he sent an emissary to all kings and jarls in sweden to ask for help and ask on behalf of his name and not Harald. I think they will come and aid Bjorn.
The battle took place, the writer confirms this is after the first battle.

Michael Hirst said the second battle takes place days after the beach battle happened, and in the 6B trailer Hvitserk says " I told you Ivar you cant kill him " which means Ivar must of stabbed him and knew Bjorn had to fell to his " supposed death "

I really love Vikings but it really dragged after Ragnar died, Bjorn and ivar carried after that for a fine time but it still keeps dragging. Specially 5th and 1st half of 6th isn't great, let's see what the last 10 episodes hold
