Your videos are just the Best!!! They are so well done! Entertaining with a twist of the "Tongue in Cheek " comedy. Like the guy with the Snowball Hat. The Cars are the Stars!! Thanks again!!!🎩🇺🇸🎩🇺🇸🎩
Frank Williams 9:10 I was lucky to have worked on the Ex team Lotus /Trevor Taylor Lotus 18 FJ when it was over here in Canada . I wish my ex boss and his son were still alive to have seen this film, thanks for posting it.
That’s for sharing your experiences it’s sad when we think of others involved who have passed on, but hopefully because these films bring back memories they do live on.
Wonderful old clip, Jim Clarke, was just that bit better than everyone else in my humble opinion, Such a great loss to the British Racing teams. I was 3 when this race took place, But by the time I was 8, Jim clarke was my no 1 driver,
What a gem! It's interesting to see the effect of Fenning's Venom's complete lack of camber recovery - the wheels lean with the body, causing excessive positive camber gain and attendant loss of grip for all to see :-)
Brilliant - once you'd finished with it, that pram chassis was naturally turned into a succession of go-karts ;-) Amazing to see , Ken Tyrrell, Colin Chapman and Frank Williams in the film!
@@alan-sk7ky mmm, not sure. Frank started losing his hair early on. In 1960, he had already left school & started an apprenticeship. And- in his own words-for several years never missed a Boxing Day Brands Hatch meeting.
A high standard of film making, and a wonderful chronicle of some important British motorsports history. Thank you for posting this!
Thanks man, very interesting and enjoyable, from one happy 😊 cat 😻
Wonderful Hamish, thoroughly enjoyed the dry humour of the narration.
Priceless. Thank you

I thought that for a moment as well, but FW was born in 1942 that bloke at 9:10 aint no 18 year old

And Keith Duckworth
I thought that too, but frank williams (born 1942) would have been 18 in 1960, the bloke at 9:04 aint no 18 year old... :-)

4:21 Oh my God! Dennis Taylor!
Rest In Peace
These are real gems, astounding quality! Thank you so much for posting, more please!
Great footage.
Made my day!
A secret practise session in the end. This must 've been the first six wheeler although a little on the heavy side.
Saladin and Saracen (?) at the end.
I wonder how many there got an inkling of just how good Jim Clark would become?
So many ace drivers. Yet so many lost to the sport.
Juniors were damn fast. Probably thats why they were banned.
8:47, is that a Saab or DKW 3 cyl 2 stroke?
Looks like a DWK to me. Perhaps others could comment ?
No seatbelts
