    You can use it as a running light and brake light that blinks, I bought this exact setup but I used the harness plug and play and put the red wire with a blue wire and yellow with the red wire and ground to ground

      Which bulb did you use? I’d like to set mine up like that too.

    Have it as a blinking brake light is not bad. More subtle when it’s not a running light.

    Looks cold man. I swear I could see your breath a couple times. Light looks good. I’m glad you point out that’s it’s the exact same thing for a fraction of the price 👌

      Definitely cold. I think it was 26°f when I filmed this lol. Ready for warmer weather for sure! And thank you!

    So what number did you end up buying at Walmart for the bulb is it 1157?

  • @Josh.Jordan
    @Josh.Jordan 3 года назад

    If u want the red clamps to work everytime u need to squeeze it really hard with the pliers and that will make it cut through the wire.

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  3 года назад +1

      Thats definitely a solution for the smaller wires however I've actually cut a few wires in half doing that lol

      I actually filmed 2 of them already and didn't like how they came out because one It was getting dark and the other the camera was at a weird angle the whole video. Ill make one soon for sure!

    Theres a strobe module you can get. So you can run a regular led bulb which will strobe and also work as a running light

    Is there a way to have it as a non-running light, and just solid (non-strobe) brake light?

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  2 года назад

      For sure! The way it came out of the box it can be wired to only work as a non strobe brake light only!

    What overlays do you have on the tail lights?

    • @StreetInspired1

      They aren't overlays I actually painted them. Here's one of my 3 videos on it if you're interested ruclips.net/video/1uVMZGiKnZk/видео.html

    How would you compare the quality of this kit to the subispeed ones? I’ve been wanting this for my car but I really can’t justify the price for the subispeed kits

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  3 года назад

      The quality on this one is like 95%. I've had Zero issues with it, it still looks and works great. Subispeed has ones with cooler designs but I preferred the simple look of the OEM one and the OEM one on their site is MUCH more expensive than this one and I think its probably the same thing.

    • @slebano4244
      @slebano4244 3 года назад

      @@StreetInspired1 damn, it looks like the one on your car is sold out. Either way I'm probably gonna find a cheap one on ebay, and then use subispeed's $15 harness so I don't have to splice it. It's a lot easier than running an extension cord with my soldering gun out to my garage lol

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1  3 года назад +1

      @@slebano4244 The harness is definitely a good idea! Would make it much easier and easily reversible if you ever want to remove it or switch it out! I didn't think of doing that. Wish I would've but its a little late now. Lol

    why go all the trouble buy the housing and the light bulb, you can buy one on eBay for 11-16 WRX STI XV F1 Style Red Lens Red LED Flasher 3rd Brake Light Lamp for $ 29.98

      My buddy went through 3 of those already because individual leds were burning out. With this if the bulb goes out I don't have to replace the entire thing just the bulb.
