We have an 18 month old Bedlington who is totally unenjoyable to walk due to pulling on the lead in every direction, and when off lead runs off and jumps up at everybody. It's not my first dog and previously I've gone to training classes and they've ended up very well behaved, but our dog now is such hard work to live with.

So take it to classes...he is no happier than you are...no such thing as bad dogs just bad owners.

you have to do the whole don't pull and stop moving until he calms down. then walk when you see that he has backed off. Start again and repeat if he pulls. AFTER the 1,000th pull and only moving 2ft, he should get the idea. It is how i trained mine. Make sure you have at least 2 hours and that you meditated before hand so you do not lose your patients. good luck!

Iv got one cross sausage dog he’s 3 months about and can sit roll over lay down and wait and can cross roads nicely and not just up for a treat but he’s at that stage when he’s biting when he gets to aggresive we just say to bad with no emotion and ether walk out of the room or take him out of the room and then come back in a couple of mins later with a treat this works well as he is associating use with treats and when he bites he dousent get a treat but got any other ideas in training and how to teach him not to run up to strangers on walks
