- Hello everyone!
A new video... and it's a crazy one!!
Of course we are going to sleep in the trench, but that's gonna be the next video, so stay tuned!!
I decided to make 2 parts!
In this video we you can see me and 2 friends having some fun, cooking some food, making coffee etc!
They never saw the trench before, and they really couldn't wait to get in it! :D
One of my friends took his original WWII Mine Detector with him, so we could search for German Mines!
Of course it was safe.. we had a nurse with us! ;)
We had a lot of fun, we laughed a lot, and at the same time we were learning about the past!
I really hope you enjoy this video, i will go Metal Detecting again too, but for now, we have to play in the Trench!

Michael Rizea if you watch interviews with veterans of ww2 they all say :remember what happend back then! I think the vets would be proud of young people like this keeping the memory alive with such detication.
IT takes a lot of time researching and building things like this,and collecting ww2 stuff is not cheap either

This guy is really the greatest motivation for people like me that absolutely love history. He can motivate and inspire people to start collecting WW2 artifacts. This man should have way more subscribers.
Remember most of the soldiers were young, 19 or 20. I'm sure there was a lot of goofing around when they had time for it. Especially if there was an attractive female nurse in the vicinity.😉

I'm actually quite jealous of this xD I used to do these type of adventures/roleplaying as a kid and early teen. I'd totally do this now to be honest but finding others with this type enthusiasm is hard to come by where i live.

I'm fairly new to the channel and I found this to be very interesting. As a person who absolutely loves history I can respect the effort to reenact the living style from ww2, and even look past some of the cringey moments XD. I do have to wonder where you find all your items?

When I first subscribed to your channel, I thought you were American...your English is excellent. Now the next mystery is your sanity and after watching this video, it is a mystery no more!. LOL This was pure crazy fun. I never spent a night in a trench, but I did spend a night in a foxhole during my training at Ft. Knox, KY...it rained all night...and I mean ALL NIGHT!!! I swore that if I survived that night, I would never go camping again...I lied...but in a camper instead a foxhole with 5 inches of water in the bottom. I love your videos and can't wait to see how you survived your night in the trench...better than my experience, I hope.

this feels like a more developed and more articulate display of having fun in the way i used to play army in the woods. so much as a kid. something about this strikes a chord with me and how i used to play but with extremely better toys. Really enjoyable thanks for the content!! reminds me of the fun i had as a kid. and know i think cause of these videos I could have that type of enjoyment and fun again sometime or just live vicariously through you and your videos. I love the trench and mine detector. I was a combat engineer in Afghanistan. And I'm an avid history buff. Especially engineer history. Just some facts about mine sweeping. Most units wouldn't use flags, they'd use poker chips because you could have over a hundred in a canteen pouch and clear a bigger area faster. Also American units used bayonets as a last resort. Mostly they would use a thick steel wire or a sharp stick to prod for the mines.
