Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!!😊 Let us know in the comments if you have any questions about BA and we'll do our best to help you out. If you liked the video, please give it a thumbs up👍🏼 it’s the easiest way for you to help our channel and means the world to us, see you on the next one!
I want you to know that our best quality it's friendship we make a cult of it , remember it ,only in Argentina . I want more english to come to meet to this wonderful land. They fall in love with her . The night is unique and they will have a great time. Welcome to B.A to the land of inmigrants .
I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for nearly 10 years. But this is one thing that no one seems to understand about Buenos Aires and Argentina in general that are many artists and crafts people and you can get beautiful hand made items from clothes to furniture at very very affordable prices and if you are not planning on a long stay you can have the items shipped back to your home country. For an example you can get a well tailored men's suit for around two or three hundred us dollars and that same suit in the United States will cost you 1500 dollars or more. And the leather goods are out of this world and again very very affordable 👌.
You can basically walk in any neighborhood in Buenos Aires and you will find stores selling hand made products from furniture to clothing but especially leather goods you will find high quality products at very affordable prices compared to the United States or Europe Santa Fe Avenue in Buenos Aires will be a good place to start I would avoid Florida Street because they cater to the tourist trade but this is my personal experience you will have to explore the situation for yourself once you are in Buenos Aires.
They are very beautiful people , I remember when we were in Cuba a few years ago and the Argentina’s were so so nice always helping you with drinks back to your table because you were with friends etc . I will visit BA next year as it’s a dream . Great helpful video . Ps I love steak lol and I know Argentina is well known for the best meat in the world
If you love steak, you will love the Parillas over here! They’re awesome. That’s really cool that you’ll be visiting soon, it was a dream of ours too! Don’t forget to get cash from WU when you visit to save money ☺️
@@TideKnotTravellers I was going to ask about currency ? So I change my pounds sterling at a western union in BA is that correct , I guess bring new notes
@@Watfordherts you don’t need to bring notes from the UK, just download the WU app and send it straight from your bank on there, then show the code to WU when you’re in BA and they’ll hand you the pesos in cash at the good rate.
We share the full experience of how to do it here: ruclips.net/video/6t5FS5TUAhY/видео.html learn from our mistakes and take your passport with you😅 you also no longer need an Argentinian sim card just put your British number into the app when you fill in your details.
I hope you finally come here to visit us in Argentina and follow the advice in the video to send yourself money through Western Union. There is strict control of the currency exchange. Tell the waiter how you like the meat, otherwise, they will cook it too much.
Hello there. As a tour guide in BA i have to thank you for the the nice things you say about our city. Unfortunately we are also harassed by "street people" but as locals we know how to get rid of them. I hope, in the near future, people will focus on the possitive and visit Buenos Aires. Looking forward to welcoming all of you. Thanks again and hasta pronto😊🖐🖐
Nomad here, just finished a stint of 3 months in BA - I do agree with the positives, but I don't think the cash thing is that much of a negative, considering its the reason BA is so incredibly cheap. Also, as far as the point about being hassled, just wait until the rest of South America lol, Argentina is as good as it gets, in the rest of SA it will be relentless (I remember the beaches in Cartagena, its literally impossible to enjoy yourself, every 10 seconds you get harrassed by some vendor). Same with police, the police presence will be even more noticeable elsewhere. I think seeing the rest of South America will put things in perspective - all of the bad in BA/Argentina is turned up 10x everywhere else on the continent
Thank you for such a well thought out comment. We are mentally preparing (if that's even possible) for more hassle as we move around the continent. Part of the reason we chose Argentina as our first country was to sort of ease us in and also because we knew it was a country with so much to see! We are really looking forward to visiting Columbia but will be prepared for a lot of vendor hassle (thank you for the heads up). Yes the blue rate can be a benefit but we still have had a lot of conversations with other travellers along the way where they have mentioned the worry of carrying so much cash so we wanted to put it in this video as it's helpful for others to see the full picture, same with everything, we loved BA but we would have loved to have known a few of these things before arriving, so hopefully this will help others ☺
@@TideKnotTravellers I think it also depends where you go in Colombia, Cartagena was particularly bad on getting hassled but its also super touristy (still worth the visit, the old city is beautiful). In Medellin its not so bad. Similarly in Ecuador on the coast it could get annoying, but in Guayaquil (and I assume Quito, although I didnt visit) it was the same. Good luck on the rest of your travels, I'll be watching the vids!
I loved all your videos. You are very nice and warm. I am glad that coming from a country as beautiful and with so much culture as the UK you have apprecited what Buenos Aires has to offer
Thank you so much, that's really kind of you. We love our own country but the more we travel we are definitely learning that there are so many ways to live life happily and although the world has differences, ultimately the people around it have such similarities! 💛💙
Awww, you seem to be lovely people. Subscribed! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit! I'm from BA but living in Pennsylvania for work. Hope you can visit other places of the country... the Lake District, Ushuaia or the wine region. And the "Buenos Aires" pronunciation was more than fine! Cheers.
Thank you so much ☺ we are visiting as many places in Argentina as we can, although it is involving a lot of long distance buses😅 We made our way North to Iguazu and then straight down to Ushuaia. What a huge and incredible contrast! (videos will be out soon) thank you for the heads up, we plan to visit Bariloche and Mendoza too on our way back up the country🍷
This is such a great overview of the things you loved and hated about Buenos Aires. I like how you called it BA for short - I have trouble pronouncing it too. I appreciate your honesty - it seems like the good definitely outweighs the negative, but it's always good to have a balanced look/evaluation of a place. I really loved that colourful are of the city, the food looks amazing and great that they do have veg options too. I'd be frustrated about the money situation and the hassling - but the gelato might help make me feel better haha.
I've been here for about a month now and I really love the cafe culture in BA. Around 6pm, everybody is out in cafes with their friends having cake and a coffee or even a glass of Malbec. I really appreciated how this was such a thing. Also, I found so many Colombian and Venezuelan cafes too where they have some traditional snacks as well as amazing coffee. As for the cash situation, I know someone who bought a smartphone here and they had to withdraw money from Western Union to buy it, and they only had 100 peso notes, which are worth about .38 cents at the moment. So he pretty much had to pay for it with 2000 bank notes 😅
The coffee culture and the Malbec is just so nice. We loved it! Wow, it’s crazy when you go to get cash and they only have small notes left, we’ve had it a few times and you end up with piles of notes that look like a lot more money than they are. Buying a smartphone with 100 peso notes sounds hilarious, no wonder he needed thousands 😂
Really Buenos Aires is a nice city, but at the same time is very large and there are a lot of people, and you will notice that the rest de Argentine is totally diferent !! Thank you for visiting my country !! Continue enjoy !!
It is a nice city and yes you're right it's definitely large and busy. We loved our time there but it's been really great to explore a few other places as we travel around Argentina and see some quieter places and the nature is incredible!
Thank you for visiting Argentina! Go visit Iguazú Waterfalls and Perito Moreno Glacier, if you haven´t yet. I guarantee you will never regret it. Cheers!
Thank you so much! We have been to both and will never forget the sheer beauty created by nature with both falling and frozen water. They are sights that you just can’t stop looking at when there. 🤩
Pleased you’re enjoying it so much - that’s great! Does look fantastic from what we’ve seen so far & a fun place, with plenty to see & do! Really looking forward to seeing more scenery & places. Enjoy!
Hey guys thanks so much for sharing your experiences in BA, we are so glad the things you love outweigh the things you don't. It is nice to hear how the people are so friendly and helpful ☺️ but the cash situation would have me a little nervous. I don't like walking around with a bunch of 💰 either. Even though we live in a city I think I would need to use earplugs too! Looking forward to the next episode.
It is strange having cash but we’ve had even worse issues with getting cash since we started moving around Argentina (gets so tricky in Patagonia!) we’ll share all that craziness soon too.
Great list and sounds like there are a lot more positives 😀 awesome that there are so many parks and wildlife. We would definitely want to try the food 🤤 lol, I also always travel with earplugs 😂
When we travel, we care about two things at most; people and food. Sounds like we would love Buenos Aires for sure! (Btw pretty sure i don't pronounce it right either lol) Sounds like so much more positives, which is a good sign. Its great that you can travel there without hurting your budget as well. Definitely hear how people can bother foreigners asking for money in South America, unfortunately tourists have better financial conditions than the locals so it tend to happen in many countries...
Hi there! Love your video, super helpful. I'm planning a trip to BA in the fall and curious what the difference is between Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood? Are they pretty similar, or distinct enough to pick one to stay in vs. the other?
We didn't hear much about Palermo Hollywood, it's all about Palermo Soho from what we experienced. The Palermo area is quite vast but it's Soho that has all the lovely streets with great coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a fun and safe vibe. We moved there as it felt 'the place to be' hope you have a great time it's an awesome city!
Palermo Hollywood is close to Palermo SoHo ,they are quite similar Palermo SoHo has more clothe shops and coffee stores and Palermo Hollywood more restaurants
Bienvenidos!
I love that the first positive thing you mentioned was the people! People make the place and it's lovely you've had so many positive experiences with the various locals there. Ahhh, we are so bummed we didn't make it to Buenos Aires during our Latin American travels. It looks amazing and would have loooovveeed to have tried some steak there. So great you found some good vegetarian food while you were there though! And wow, the ice cream looks amazing too! Love that you found a favorite ice cream stop while you were there haha sounds like something we would do too haha What's the population of BA? Yeah, traveling with that much cash on you would be really uncomfortable. And that's a shame you experienced such aggressive hassling. Feeling lucky we haven't experienced that ourselves in South America, but of course we haven't been to BA specifically. Thanks for your honest take. Happy you had an overall wonderful time :) Excited to see more in Argentina!!
The people are definitely making our time here really memorable and special. If I was Argentinian I would be so proud of how welcoming and kind hearted the nation is.
Great viedo. Thanks for your tips. I am visiting BA in January 2023 so it's good to know about sitting outside at restaurants. I can't wait to see all the places you show in your videos
@@TideKnotTravellers I have 1 day stopover before my Antarctica trip. I have booked an English speaking guide for La Recoleta. I will spend the day in Recoleta district. Then I have 4 days after my cruise. I am heading to Iguazu Falls for 1 day. (Thanks for that video too!!) I will also check out La Boca and all the main tourist attractions
Hi Craig, Kirsty, I'm from BA , thank you for coming , you're very welcome here !! And thanks for the vid , I totally agree with the hate specially the noise from delivery motorcycle .😊👍
Lovely video! I loved the point you made about icecream! As a porteño I can tell you there is al least one excellent heladería en every BA neighbourhood (an it also applies to pizzerias and pastries!). Spread the word :)
Being from here, I don't like it when people do that in restaurants either. We should at least try to fix that problem soon. I hope you have an excellent stay here and enjoy as much as you can. Kind regards.
It is a bit unnerving and I think for the waiters/waitresses it gets a bit annoying for them too. We enjoyed sitting inside at all the lovely restaurants instead. Thank you! We’re having an incredible time so far and slowly picking up more Spanish ☺️
Wait! Go to Rio and see what’s harassment in the streets. It’s true BA is uncomfortable in that aspect, but Rio de Janeiro is borderline intent of assault in the best case scenario.
@@TideKnotTravellers I lived for a year in Rio. My wife is a “carioca” (native from Rio) and I have to tell you the level of harassment by vendors and the constant threat of being robbed is in another level. Thanks God I didn’t experience any dangerous situation but we were always very alert of our surroundings and I was with somebody who knows damn well the place. Don’t get me wrong you can enjoy this beautiful city which to me has been blessed in terms of natural beauty but be careful. Never, ever relax your sense of alertness.
I liked this video. I'm a US/UK dual national and have been to Buenos Aires twice and plan on living there for a year or two after I retire at the end of 2023. The only problem I have is that I am a vegan and Argentina is hardly vegan friendly. I already know that I want to live in Recoleta. Recoleta is the only place where it costs more to die there than to live there.😄
@@TideKnotTravellers We're almost finished with my two-week holiday in Argentina: BA, Ushuaia, El Calafate, and back to BA. We found lots of vegan restaurants and most other restaurants have at least a vegetarian option. We did not starve during our Argentine holiday!
@@mrbushlied7742 Then come back soon friend , more and more americans friends Recoleta looks like París and enjoy. We want the tourists to feel at home .
Great video! The food does look incredible and it's great to know the people are nice. The hassle situation is a massive negative. I love to sit outside when I'm travelling. I'm team Craig on the police situation it was the same in Rio.
Yeh they do a good job, as I was saying it in this video I sort of realised it is more of a positive thing to have protection. I’m glad to hear it’s the same in Rio, we’re constantly told to be careful when we get there!
@@TideKnotTravellers I didn't feel unsafe at all in Rio not for a minute. São Paulo was a bit different I didn't feel safe. Make sure you won't miss Paraty!
@@johnbrenttravel We're figuring out which parts to visit in Brasil as we are travelling Argentina by bus but Brasil will probably be a couple or 3 flights so we need to pick areas carefully! Will look into Paraty , thanks! 😊
Marvellous footage , compliments ! Keep the hint why generally we Argentinians do like and we follow Brit people and its culture ? Despite English and Spaniard are very different languages, i have the feeling there's an immediately intellect's affinity between each other's . That's something magic you'll never find it through the texts of a book , that's a reward we get through the real experiences . So, sincerely , thanks for your great vid ! Nice Brit tourists like both of you do deserve all of our warm attentions , then you are always welcome
☺ We're pleased to hear our videos are helpful, we always try to share things that we wish we had known before visiting a place. Thank you so much for your lovely words!
The hassle thing also happens inside the restaurants, coffee shops and fast food venues. A few minutes after you sit down people come leaving pieces of paper, getting all in your business and insistently asking you for money. Many of them will try to get your belongings if you have them on your chair or table. One time my aunt was almost robbed by one these people. She noticed that he had put his cap on her phone. She sprung up and took his cap with her phone and shouted so much that he left.
I enjoyed your video. Great information and awesome tips. Some of the negatives confirm what I had already heard but it's important to know. Also, it's really cool to hear two Brits discovering and commenting about my native country. Thank you!! 😉😊 Now it's my turn to visit.
We feel lucky to have immersed ourselves into Argentina (and now the rest of SA too) hope you have a lovely trip to Argentina! Are you planning to travel around and see lots? I know Cordoba is on the itinerary but February is a great time for Patagonia too ☺️
Believe me your " complaints" are justified and im from Argentina but the good thing is that the further You go from buenos Aires the Street hasslers" are fewer. I Hope You get to visit Iguazú Falls etc You will fall in love with those places! 😊
We made it Iguazu and you're right we fell in love with it! Visiting there and Ushuaia we have had no street hasslers at all and it's been so nice! Your country is truly beautiful and everyone is so friendly too ☺
Thanks for honest opinions on Buenos Aires! That really helps us know what to expect. It's great that you got to spend so long there and expereince so many different districts. I had no idea the city was so big. So, do you have to pay for everything in cash or do places take credit card as well?
You can pay on credit card pretty much everywhere but as we showed in the ‘blue dollar’ video we made, you will not ever want to use your card as you’ll pay double for everything. 1USD = 104 pesos on the official rate, 1USD = 210 pesos with the blue dollar (cash)
Since october the exchange rate for foreign credit cards has been fixed, Visa, MasterC make an exchange rate similar to "blue" = informal, so-called "dólar mep".
Thank you for you beautiful comments!!! May be one day I could go to London and see your marvelous city! And even your excentric Commons House and Speaker.... Which ones I sometimes see and enjoy their.discussions!! Edit: Some misstypings...
Our favorite tv baseball announcer is nicknamed by his initials, BA. (Brian Anderson.) Both BAs are lovely people, welcoming. Both love good food. (Soooo good there.) Both are vibrant and varied. Don’t know if our BA is a nightlife party guy. Lol Oooooh gelato! The 🇮🇹 influence. “A deer-hare thing…just chillin’.” Yeah, walking around with a 🎯 on…um…yeah. Our BA isn’t a wads-of-cash-guy. Thank you SO very much for your videos!!! I’m planning a trip there for this January and your videos are really helping me plan. I know it sounds silly but I’m trying to figure out what to wear for a month there that won’t make me stand out as a tourist but also won’t look too sloppy because I’m going there to meet my boyfriends family and help fix his moms house. Any recommendations on what the weather this like during January?
Thank you we’re glad our videos are helpful. Our whole BA series was filmed in January this year so you can see exactly how the weather is in January. It was hot 🥵 I’d recommend wearing loose comfortable clothes, the city is so diverse with a very European feel so you won’t stand out wearing normal summer clothes. We didn’t see any traditional South American dressed people in BA at all, clothes shopping in BA is also great so save some space in your case if you can ☺️
I'm glad you liked BA, but Argentina is not just BA, the rest of my country is more beautiful, with breathtakingly beautiful landscapes, good food and good people. The issue of insecurity in BA is the same as that of the big capitals with tourists, I have family in Barcelona, London and Nice, they have also had bad times, that does not degrade the look of those places.
We really enjoyed BA. Now we are exploring the rest of Argentina, we visited Puerto Iguazu which was so fun, now we're exploring the mountains and enjoying the fresh air, your country has so much diversity!
What a nice video! Thank you very much indeed for your perspective, so nice and cheerful. Just a comment regarding economics: A new law (or whatever, decret) has been passed and now YOU CAN USE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH A DECENT RATE. Credit cards were of course always accepted but they got you a very bad rate. That has recently changed and the use of credit cards from overseas is encouraged with a rate almost as good as the one you might find changing currency on the streets,
Hi Ignacio? Which law? I find that hard to believe. Can you give me the name or number so I can research it? I was under the impresion that it was even worse with the so called "Dolar Catar". etc... Give me some pointers please, because I'm coming in June, and I want to be the safest possible and the most prepared. Thank you
I have had zero issues with money in Argentina. We just went to the ATM, grabbed some money for the next few days and then buggered off back to the airbnb. Credit cards is an issue yes, but for the rest no problems.
I have had issues with street vendors or ppl harrassing us. The one time someone got aggressive I stood up angry and he decided that being at least a foot smaller than me and at least the weight of a small child, it would be safer leaving. That said, I've had this happen to me all over Argentina, usually a wag of the finger and no no no helped. Another tip is to never give any money to kid tramps, usually they are sent by either parents or adults who take their money for themselves.
We had no issues using the ATMs either, we did that for the first week until we realised that gives the official rate which is double the cost of the unofficial or ‘blue’ rate that everyone uses here. Without that we couldn’t imagine how we’d have done some of the tours in Southern Argentina as it gets pricey😅
We try really hard not to make eye contact and if they persist we just say no and look away or carry on talking to each other. We feel sorry for them but it’s just so often that it becomes a bit annoying and intimidating. Having that king of height on your side sounds helpful in this situation😁
@@TideKnotTravellers I've done the same but if all else fail I'm usually bigger than them and even though I'm a sweet pussycat, my overall look makes people think I'm a badass. :P

Curious about long term cost of living in BA. We speak Spanish. If a couple had say a 1 year lease on a 1 bedroom apartment in La Boca, stayed away from touristy stuff and limited eating out, we are Vegan so eat fresh produce, could we make it on $1800/month ? Thx !
That would be a really comfortable budget in that scenario. You would have a great time! We spent a little less than that in BA whilst staying in Airbnb’s and eating out a little and we were there for just over three weeks.
We spent 2 weeks in Salta and saw a lot less of it there than in BA & Mendoza. Although there are more tour operators selling tours in the main square of Salta but they are not pushy just friendly and available when you need them. No one came up to us while we were eating or anything like that.

Sorry if this has been asked a few times, as I've only just found your lovely channel. Looking on doing something similar with my partner. How to you fund your travels? Do you work remotely? Thank you
Hi thank you for your comment. We get asked this quite often mainly in our DM's on instagram. We saved for many years to travel and also work remotely whilst we travel. We are by no means experts but we have been doing it for around two years now (with a pause for the pandemic of course!) it's not always easy juggling everything with work, travel and running this channel, we made a video a few weeks ago showing the reality of full time travel, it's not always pretty but we love it. Best of luck!
You can use your credit card but you’ll pay the official exchange rate so it will cost a lot more. Use American dollars or pesos exchanged at the blue dollar rate and you’ll save a lot of money.
I share the good and bad things you found about BA. Regarding the noise, it is because tourists choose the worst of Palermo, in the hipster area where delivery motorcycles pass by every 2 seconds, the music, many people on the streets, etc, You have better neighborhoods than Palermo, quieter,. As a native of Buenos Aires, I would never move to Palermo. Palermo is for eating, going to a cafe, shopping, but not for residing, you would have to have a lot of resistance to those excesses. The people who bother the tables outside the cafes are generally deranged people, mostly drug addicts. This is impossible to avoid, in European capitals it also happens and quite often, because they are more drug friendly. On the negative side, as every city has flaws, Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin, Stockholm, etc etc etc etc, you failed to mention a serious flaw, which is the dog po po. There are no perfect societies, each one has its madness. I was delighted that you liked Buenos Aires. And it is true as you say, to get to know BA you have to spend at least a month there. You are always welcome
Ahh we ran out of time! Further proof that BA has so many cool places to see, we will definitely be back in BA one day and will make sure to get to Tigre.
No sucederá...
Also, another good thing to mention is that we do not have colored people or Muslims in Argentina. We also have a very low percentage of communists compared to other countries. Thank you for visiting our country. We are very open-minded.
Please don't say colored as it is considered racist. People of Color would be more respectful. I don't think you were being racist, just matter of fact.
Of course it's racist! " it's a GOOD thing we don't have colored people and Muslims ". Argentina has the biggest population of natzis from WW2 and their laws are still oppressive tours minorities. It's a good place to visit for white people only, even the president made some racist remarks not too long ago.
Nice review but Buenos Aires is not Argentina. As a native “portenio “ which is the name given to a person who was born in BA I can assure you there’s much more to explore in Argentina. From the northern Cataratas to the southern Patagonia and in between, there’s a world to be discovered.
Where do I get these suits? Which store

@@Watfordherts you don’t need to bring notes from the UK, just download the WU app and send it straight from your bank on there, then show the code to WU when you’re in BA and they’ll hand you the pesos in cash at the good rate.

Thank you for your lovely comment ☺️ Buenos Aires is really cool with so much to do and see! You’re very lucky to live in such a great city 🤩
@@franciscloutier5387 thank you so much for the info!☺️

Thank you so much ☺ we are visiting as many places in Argentina as we can, although it is involving a lot of long distance buses😅 We made our way North to Iguazu and then straight down to Ushuaia.
It’s an awesome place but definitely takes a bit of prior knowledge to help a visit there to go smoothly. Thanks for watching! ☺️
😍😍😍

We always have some ear plugs in our bags just incase, definitely needed them a few times on the overnight buses here in Argentina!
This country has great food and friendly people and you're right those two things make for a great experience straight away!

Love that you found a favorite ice cream stop while you were there haha sounds like something we would do too haha
What's the population of BA?
Yeah, traveling with that much cash on you would be really uncomfortable. And that's a shame you experienced such aggressive hassling. Feeling lucky we haven't experienced that ourselves in South America, but of course we haven't been to BA specifically.
Thanks for your honest take. Happy you had an overall wonderful time :) Excited to see more in Argentina!!
Buenos Aires City is 3.5 millon people and with the suburban area 17.5 millon.

Wait! Go to Rio and see what’s harassment in the streets. It’s true BA is uncomfortable in that aspect, but Rio de Janeiro is borderline intent of assault in the best case scenario.

I liked this video. I'm a US/UK dual national and have been to Buenos Aires twice and plan on living there for a year or two after I retire at the end of 2023. The only problem I have is that I am a vegan and Argentina is hardly vegan friendly. I already know that I want to live in Recoleta.

I would never use a CC in Argentina - you're literally paying double for everything
BA is twice as big as Paris!
Paris 105 km2 and BA 210 km2

The issue of insecurity in BA is the same as that of the big capitals with tourists, I have family in Barcelona, London and Nice, they have also had bad times, that does not degrade the look of those places.
We really enjoyed BA. Now we are exploring the rest of Argentina, we visited Puerto Iguazu which was so fun, now we're exploring the mountains and enjoying the fresh air, your country has so much diversity!
OMG! Here we go again!
"Argentina is not just BA"
All the world knows that just like "UK is not only London"....
@@miguelgarr576 This.
Again the old countryside provincial motto "Argentina is not only Buenos Aires"
What a nice video! Thank you very much indeed for your perspective, so nice and cheerful. Just a comment regarding economics: A new law (or whatever, decret) has been passed and now YOU CAN USE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH A DECENT RATE. Credit cards were of course always accepted but they got you a very bad rate. That has recently changed and the use of credit cards from overseas is encouraged with a rate almost as good as the one you might find changing currency on the streets,
It’s so great that that has finally happened, it has been one of the trickiest parts of travelling Argentina 🇦🇷
Hi Ignacio?
Si sad you forgot the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires one of the biggest and most beautiful opera houses in the world.
A great reason to come back, so much to see and do ☺
Nobody's gonna bother me with my dog...🤣 All I have to say is "Amy, chomp balls!" ...And she will...🤣

Is there much street-side panhandling in Salta?
We spent 2 weeks in Salta and saw a lot less of it there than in BA & Mendoza. Although there are more tour operators selling tours in the main square of Salta but they are not pushy just friendly and available when you need them. No one came up to us while we were eating or anything like that.
Please advise on Minimum Income Requirement for the Pensionado Visa. I have read online recently that the government has restricted this visa to a minimum of US $2000 per month, which is not on any official documents.
We cannot advise but maybe someone else will see it and know something more about it, best of luck 😊
So are credit cards readily accepted? Will retailers take American dollars or do I need pesos?
You can use your credit card but you’ll pay the official exchange rate so it will cost a lot more. Use American dollars or pesos exchanged at the blue dollar rate and you’ll save a lot of money.
I am instead proud to see the police in our BA streets. The practical guarantee of our properties and our safety.
Yes that is definitely a positive thing 😊
Will you go to Bariloche ?
Yes we already did and have a few videos there. It’s beautiful 🤩
Did you bring pounds instead of dollars and exchange them at western union?
No, it needs to be done via the app. You send the money to yourself to be collected in Argentine Pesos at Western Union.
RIVER PLATE ES LOCURA
Don't miss Tigre!
Ahh we ran out of time! Further proof that BA has so many cool places to see, we will definitely be back in BA one day and will make sure to get to Tigre.
💪💪💪💪💪♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌟🌟🌟
are there not crypto options??
No sucederá...

Lots of Police is good in a big city; wish London had that many visible cops.
Yes, you’re right, think I’m just not used it.
your video was about food only. and?
who calls it B.A.? is that a thing? The city has such a beautiful name why shorten it?
The locals often do, happens everywhere around the world.
You forgot to mention great FOOTBALL
Of course! How did we miss that one 🤪
you want see animals roaming freely go to africa you see lions, cheetha, heyna, servals
I’m living in the states for over 35 years now and I regret not knowing so many amazing places in my own home country, hopefully you can get to visit them for me. Enjoy and congrats!
You must miss your country very much, you’re right there is much more to see, we have many videos in other parts (and more to come!) we feel very lucky to get to explore Argentina, hope you get to see more of it too at some point ☺️
I'm considering moving there from the U.S. (New Hampshire - 42F in winter without windchill, 6 months of winter- (Nov thru Mar/Apr) 😆

Water? Lakes? Are they SAFE? Poisonous snakes? Not in B.A...right???

Still not getting used to having so much cash lol. Especially when western union decides to give you only $100 bills 😂
