- This is the 2023 Toyota Supra 3.0 Premium Manual. It's about time Toyota put a manual transmission in this car. I've reviewed many Toyotas on this channel from my 2013 Scion FR-S to my 2022 Toyota GR86 and more recently the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla. Let's see how the new Toyota Supra compares and if it's worth the premium over Toyota's other offerings.

1. Want a rally style hot hatch with stability, 4 doors and insane grip - Corolla
2. Want exquisite balance across power, handling, steering, weight and a true back to basics sports car - 86
3. Want an 86 but need a lot more power (and easily tunable for even more), exotic long-hood, short-deck proportions (like S2000, Mercedes AMG GT, Viper, M Coupe) while giving up on some balance and weight? - Supra
Me? Corolla coz it's hilly and rains, ices a lot where I live and I have a kid!
All they need bring back is MR2
@@FATmenDRIVEtrucks rumors are there is one in the making in colab with Suzuki. Not sure if it will make it to the states though.
@v8_sami that'd be sick I'm trying collect all the GR products. I've got a GR86 so far hope they continue making them for awhile
Weirdest thing in the video? Snow! The BMW/Toyota partnership has grown on me. This is a car I would consider but I’m more in the slow car fast camp.
Damn I was a few months late on the news of the release of a manual version of the Supra. I guess I will have to suffer with my Cayman purchase last year. Great review 👍

Great reviews! Looking at either the 718 base plus necessary options, or the Supra. With what should be std options I am at 85g Cad on the 718 and since it’s like building a pizza it gets expensive. Wishing their design engineers would amp it up with subtle changes so you can tell if it’s new or 10 years old. Guess it saves on parts. Would anyone know how long it takes to get the new pizza after ordering? Do you think I could go wrong with either car? Thanks!
Still disappointed you can’t drive the Supra with the windows down. A fundamental flaw still not fixed. The manual fixed all my other gripes with the vehicle. I am very curious about the reliability on the engine. Especially since Toyota puts its port and direct injection system on vehicles like the GR86 but left this engine DI only which I thought was interesting that they took such a hands off approach with the Supra. All that said, if I could afford the MSRP on the manual Supra I would buy it. Sadly it’s $10k over my budget

Supra and i own a Yaris Rallye.
For me it's a toss up between the GR86 and the GR Corolla

The Cayman GTS 4.0 is almost double the price of the Supra... yet they are very comparable performance wise. I can understand your disdain for the Supra.

Have you driven this car? I'd say this car is a lot of fun, way more punchy obviously and can be tuned to oblivion
@@PRODNXBU yes, and I only liked the noise insulation and interior albeit the gr86 has a better shift knob position. power is there, but it isn't really useable for everyday driving. if i'm owning a car, i'll be driving it daily and it'll gonna be my only gar. gr86 won that.
if someone were to give me this supra, i'll instantly sell it to buy a gr86 and use the remaining money to modify it.
