My 16 month battle with COIVD

For the past 16 months I have battled with COVID. Here is my journey and how it affected my health. Even though I am still battling it, I have so much I have learned and want to share with you.

I feel like you match me, almost exactly in my symptoms and continued long hauler. New asthma dx, but believe I had very mild asthma prior to covid. Now it's pretty chronic. I'm an RN and work in case management. The only difference is the dizziness and migraines are almost gone. But I have pretty bad chest pain and lung tightness,currently. You mentioned you had Lyme disease. I think covid brings out old infections such as Lyme, Epstein bar, shingles, cmv, etc. I have no autoimmune dx, but my lung dx is the same, as you. I feel SOB all the time. I don't have the blood sugar problem, but I know viruses can cause New diabetes.

Oh wow you have gone through so much too! But that’s great the migraines are almost gone for you!! Woo! Celebration! Baby steps to healing! Yes, I am learning that Covid brings out the old infections unfortunately.
