I'm strict carnivore for 8 months now. I'm 70 years old. I did have hypertension and was medicated for it continually from age 27. After eating only meat, it took under 10 X days to have to stop medication because my blood pressure went so low. I developed type ll diabetes just over 9 X years ago when I changed to become a vegetarian. As soon as I started Carnivore, my blood sugar results reversed and I no longer have type ll diabetes, and don't need medication. All I did was change to strict carnivore and two serious illnesses are gone. I take no medication whatsoever and feel fitter, stronger, and healthier than I have in the last twenty years.

I’ve been carnivore for nearly 4 months in the UK. Feeling great on it. Developed acute appendicitis a couple of days ago out of the blue and had an emergency appendectomy yesterday and currently laying in my NHS hospital bed. The breakfast lady came round and asked what I’d like, eggs and bacon I replied. We don’t do that for breakfast was the reply, my ONLY choices were a range of cereals or toast, so I declined.
Surgeon has just been to see me and asked if I’d eaten breakfast, so I told him no, as I don’t eat was on offer and I’m zero carb. His reply was,
“Well all that nonsense has to go out the window when you’re sick”.
That’s what we’re dealing with here in England.

At age 20 I was diagnosed with HOCM (Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) which is essentially increased thickening of the heart muscle that interferes with heart contraction and blood flow. I've had 6 pacemaker operations and have been on medication the past 34 years. I could not even walk up just half a flight of stairs without stopping, many syncope episoldes over the past 36 years almost drowning several times as well in knee high water.
Switched to carnivore exactly 12 months ago, no pacemaker, off all medications, excercise tolerance is better than when I was 19. I'm 55 and can now push myself as hard as everyone else training martial arts 4-5 times a week with people half my age, which I could have never dreamed of, I was literally out of breath just sitting down, with swollen feet as my heart was not functioning properly.
Does it work? Well for me it did, and its been a miracle cure, no snoring, no joint pain, improved vision and concentration. People say I look the best they have ever seen me, we go hiking and they are out of breath but not me, carnivore has reversed the aging and decripitude.
It even worked for my partner who is in her late 30's to eliminate grape sized uterine fybriods, gone in 3 months on carnivore.
Nothing to lose giving it a good honest go. Eliminate the plants and carbs and the body can begin to heal itself rather than being diverted to cleaning up the daily plant toxins and sugar. You will never want to go back.
So not N=1, but N=2, it is two out two that canivore has worked for.

Statins promote calcium btw. I took them from early 30s to 50 and still have higher coronary calcium - due to being insulin resistant- high insulin/glucose inflames arteries too. Without inflammation your cholesterol does what it needs to.

Please, Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet .(Sorry if i already posted before but i dont know what to do):
I am now over 215 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else but 500-600g of COCKED meat(Chuck steak) plus 7-8 eggs in a day. All Divided in 2 meals) I am now 35 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-22%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss- HIT Workouts)
I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems.
I lost about 17 lbs(8kg) in the first 9 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 8 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements like waist, legs, arms and neck ).In fact i have gained 2,5 lbs(1KG between weeks 10-12, but it might be just water.
I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor have I changed my body composition significantly
I am now over 12 weeks with no body fat lost.
So I would like to ask a few question about the Carnivore diet:
1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnivore diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat)
2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?(how many weeks or months)
3-Is the Carnivore diet effective for those who are aldreay healthy and just need to improve body composition?
I am affraid this way of eating is too restrictive, for a healthy person, with no aditional benefit from any other whole food diet.
I am also not a bot. I have been posting this question as often as i can because i dont know what to do with my lack of results.
PS: Most of my time as a Carnivore i have not experience most Carnivore benefits or lost any body fat.
Also, Sorry for any grammar mistake, i am Brazilian and english is not my first language.
I am also not a bot. I have been posting this question as often as i can because i dont know what to do with my lack of results.
    Thank you for your attention!

Staying carnivore and adding 36 hour fasts may be your best option. Fasts of more than 36 hours and less than 96 hours shouldn’t result in less muscle. In fact, growth hormone production when ending a fast should end up increasing lean mass. 36 hour fasts are very beneficial. After a few of those (perhaps once a week), try a 72 hour fast and see how it goes. Ultimately, a once or twice per year 72-96 hour fast will make a huge difference in body fat, including visceral (gut) fat. The list of benefits goes far beyond just fat loss, though. Do a YT search using fasting and Pottenger’s.

Try sprinting, not running. Dr Berry has a video on that.
Kelly Hogan had a video on her two year stall where she stuck at 20 lbs more than she wanted to be. Watch that one.

@@2old4allthis So the solution to losing body fat isn't eating? Really? But you can lose body fat by fasting for 72-96 hours, even if you were eating ice cream.
Bassiclay, all you're saying is that CICO is the number one factor in losing body fat. Because anyone who can go 3-4 days without eating can lose body fat and stay lean, regardless of what they eat.
Who knew? Want to lose fat? Just stop eating for a few days each week until you lose the body fat you want!

Tty eating some complex carbs and/or fat and see if that helps. Or maybe you are dehydrated (low fluids allowed?) or your electrolytes are off (low sodium diet?). At least dialysis cleans your blood so your cells can detox without overburdening your blood and lymph.
