Race proven motorsports made a pretty cool video about pump, gas versus pump gas with VP octanium. Pretty amazing results on the Dyno. It was on a c7 corvette
The mass air sensor does a density calculation to get the mass flowrate. Density= mass/Volume and since you have a Flow Density you have to change Density flow=mass flow rate/ volumetric flow rate. The volumetric flow is length X length X length or Area X Length. When you change the Housing size you change the Area. In the short the MAF sensor is calibrated to the Area of the Housing. Gale is 100% right.
