I am fishing a number of different places here in the north of Ireland ( coastal ) for Sea Trout. I am normally a traditionalist and stick to small sea trout wet flies I have had success but this year I am on a mission I am tying sandeel patterns with Mayler materials and came across your video. I will 100% give this pattern a go. If the sea trout don't hunt that they won't hunt anything. Great video and a beautiful pattern well tied. Thanks.

I'm new to tieing, what type of feathers are those?
What is the very first white feathers called?
What a wonderful exhibition of flytying. I would love to see the fly performing under water. I have no doubt that it behaves beautifully.
Awesome and I need to try this way of attaching materials. Thank you sir for the lesson
What UV lamp is it you are using?. Looks really nice that you can harden the resin on a small point :) Fly looks awesome as well.
Thanks Lars! Its an uv Laser pen.. Just Google it.. Mine cost me around 10 euro.. Happy tying!
A beautiful fly. What species do u target with the sandeel during what time of year?
