Nice one and a bit of a change too. I like the way you utilized alternative materials when you can. Anything bought from a tackle dealer always attracts a higher price!
I can tell you this Mr BOC you must be THE most innovative effective fly tyer on the web . The end result after the colouring totally completes the creation, totally .I wonder if this would work in a freshwater lake after trout although I doubt it as i have never seen a eel sand or otherwise in any Welsh lake
There is a floating version (with foam cylinder inserted in a wider but shorter version of the same tubing)tied in smelt colors used for salmon in the Penobscot River in Maine, USA. Brook trout will also take it.
@@FlyTyer1948 Yeah thats right, you can also put a few strips of lead wire in the body, I have even tied them with free rolling brass beads in the body, so it not only ads weight but also rattles.
Hi Eivind, thanks, yes i am making one per day now so many more to come. We'll have to try and get together before winter sets in and do some sea trout fishing...
Barry, been trying to locate some easy buddy tubbing to tye some for mackrel fishing looks a great sand eel to tye and simple !! have you any link or company were i can obtain some tubing and the size, Cheers Barry

Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me
@Joel Ricky I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
ya know back about 50 years ago I use to think i tied my own flies for several years and got fairly good at it.. but after watching some of your patterns I am thinking what I did was tie up feathers on hooks and caught the fish as they were laughing themselves to tears just by accident.. thanks Barry.. do you sell your flies.. I would love to have one of those.. carry on your great.. I appreciate your talent immensely..

What type of electric cable would have this tube in it? Would have a link? As I find the Ez tubes from shop a bit to stiff and would lijstvolgorde try these ones, if you could advise where I can get this armouring would be great. Thanks in advance Barry
My boyfriend and I love your videos! You're a huge inspiration for his ties. If you don't mind me asking what do you use to shoot your videos? I know that you use professional gear. Always curious haha 😄
Hi Jess, thanks so pleased that you are enjoying them. I use a Canon Eos1D Mk VI for all my filming and various studio lighting, four lights in all and a nuetural grey background that I colour with gel filters over the background light. Hope this helps...
Excellent pattern - cannot wait to try it in Maine USA for stripers. In the very last part of the video, it appears you added a thin black line along the side before adding the green on the topside. Do you have any suggestions on how to did the black line and got it to be so even and yet solid (in one of your usual clever ways I assume)?
@@Thefeatherbender think I have seen a site showing this product a few of which have the letters LL behind the colour options which surely denotes Lateral Line options . Will check if 3mm is mini or small and for supplier in UK . Thank you Barry
Hi Barry, you make it look so easy. Just wondering where you get 1.5mm tape eyes from as I can't seem to find them. Also you use UV resin, would the Sally Hansen hard as nails work? Many thanks
Hi, Thanks. The tape eyes came from Hareline dubbing many years ago, but I guess they still have them. Yeah, it would work but you will have to wait for it to dry.
Thats an insane technique. Thank you my good man
Thanks Ben, and it works just great!
I am perfect with this the fish will fall round, greetings from Peru and long live the fish.

Hi Bob, there is a thin side line of thread woven into the E-Z Body tube so when you run a marker over it you get the perfect line.
So awesome
What size of e-z body tubing did you use in your sand eel video and how do you specfy the option with lateral lines ?
