I actually liked how allied support worked in 5 more than 6. Having the entire allied air force behind you doing nothing except waiting for you to gain enough meter for you to order them to fire was annoying for a multitude of reasons. 5 stole the wingman mechanics straight from Rogue Squadron 2, and I've always liked that system.
I've been looking forward to this. Of all the Ace Combat soundtracks, I've always felt that 6 has the greatest sense of forward momentum. To me, this soundtrack is more of a driving force than the others in the series. And that's singing a ton of praise. Here's to hoping the game mechanics that were introduced in 6, but then abandoned, can become a permanent part of the Ace Combat series moving forward.
Wait.. This game is already 15 years old?! I remember buying this on a whim sometime back in the early 2010's I think. This was my first Ace Combat game, and what got me into the series as a whole. Might have to boot up the ol' 360 and make some Stovies dance with the angels this weekend!

I fell out of Ace Combat for a while and the one thing I sold was the AC6 stick bundle. I now regret it greatly. One of these days I'll get a Series X and a used copy of 6 to replay.
Having played this masterpiece, Skies Unknown certainly feels very underwhelming despite being delayed... Let's hope Ace Combat 8 lives up to its name!
I’m so happy Namco is giving 6 some love, the story and writing were admittedly goofy as all hell but the OST kicked ass and the gameplay and multiplayer was IMO the peak of the series. Personal favorite of mine.
Ace Combat 6 seriously needs a PC release. Even a direct port with minimal graphics uplift (no texture change, but graphical options common with PC releases like HD resolution, widescreen support, etc) would be welcomed.
GarudaZero0ne. After seeing gameplay videos of Ace Combat 06: Fires of Liberation, I immediately went to Acepedia to read the game's story, where I then chanced upon Talisman's alternate callsign, "Garuda". Loved the name so much that GarudaZero0ne has been my IGN for years... Now... there's a playlist named Garuda 1! Definitely something I'll be listening to while grinding the U.S air tree in War Thunder with the F-5C soon!

エースコンバット6は多くの仲間と一緒に戦ってる感じがあって好きだったなあ
あと大量破壊兵器無力化で孤立奮闘してる時に助けに来てくれるところとかまじでテンション上がりました（また出来れば違う形でもいいから復活して欲しい）
あと個人的に敵エースパステルナーク小佐がめちゃくちゃ魅力的だったなあエスコン6の中で一番好きなキャラですわ

Here's hoping Co-Op Missions, dynamic objectives, and Allied Support (with tweaks to how scoring works) make a comeback in future titles

Don't forget the most important, Ace of Aces mode.
Not sure about Co-Op mode, but allied kills (albeit very rare) doesn't add up to your score in AC7 is just dumb...

Emmeria purchased CFA-44s from Estovakia after the war. Considering Talisman is their best pilot, more than likely.
