Catus, get a packing quilt from HF to replace the welding apron.
In my opinion Dynamic tool's customer service stinks. Also, warranty can be a nightmare as, the last time I checked, Dynamic requires you to physically mail back warranty items to Canada (VERY EXPENSIVE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING) or you get ZERO warranty. They should, instead, offer a simple picture / email based warranty policy (NOT requiring a physical returned item) this would solve part of their issue as a company. Additionally, in my opinion, their website totally stinks with many huge & BASIC errors that have gone unfixed for a very long time. As far as their website is concerned, it is like someone is "asleep at the wheel".
They changed that policy. The website is different now if they just have. You submitted some photos like the other companies.

@@CatusMaximus After you messaged me back, I did a quick look at their website and it might have changed, but it looks identical to when I looked before. it says "ship the tool prepaid to Gray Tools Canada Inc., 299 Orenda Road, Brampton, Ontario, L6T 1E8.". in their "Policies & proceedures" page along with other off-putting policies. If they have changed their policy, then it should be CLEARLY & consistently reflected throughout their website, I did see their picture based warranty service page that, I think, you referred to (to send pictures in). That is a small step in the right direction. Maybe they have slightly changed, but when I dealt with them in the past, they were ABSOLUTELY NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED. As a result I DO NOT TRUST DYNAMIC TOOLS AT ALL,
