    Gosh people, quit complaining; you should be thankful she puts her videos up for everyone to see. Knitting this much must be very time consuming and if she were to go slower, I imagine it would take more time. Use pause, rewind, and all that if you really want to learn this pattern.

    As both a knitter and lover of cats as well, this video is articulate re your oral presentation. The demonstration is appreciated as it shows talent. This is an outstanding pattern showing the generosity of your fine skill and time. It is entertaining to watch twice or more: One time to focus on the knitting ,and the second to be humored by the loving kitty who wants your attention :)

    the good thing about this is that you can stop the video at any time and repeat it and then as you do , write the instructions yourself :) this is lovely thanks for the tutorial

    Thank you for the instrutions in english. I'm a continental knitter too so it's perfect. Your cat gives a nice touch :)

  • @aveyowyns
    @aveyowyns 13 лет назад

    I could never knit continental before today, no matter how hard I tried ... but I still felt I need to learn how. Simply watching you knit and the way you hold/manipulate the yarn as got me knitting continental with ease!! The tension in my work is still a little inconsistent, but at least I got the actual knitting worked out - now I only need to practice!! :)

  • @sudacla
    @sudacla 11 лет назад

    hear hear - her videos rock!! if it's too fast use pause and repeat like the rest of us do! if that is still too fast you probably need to do some more basic knitting til you're more proficient. Alternatively you can always pick out the individual terms which are stumping you and look them up so you can practice those particular techniques (yo, psso, etc.)

    @LoyalTiger11 Tutorials on the whole vary in how they're demonstrated. This pattern goes over eight rows -- I'm not sure there's a shorter way to give a visual of every row without making the video longer than it already is. Even the written pattern would be kind of complicated to follow. It's fast, yes, but it's still a good resource with a clear visual from the knitter's viewpoint. I'm just appreciative that the video exists, even if it's fast for me, too.

    Hola , la verdad me encanta tejer y este canal están en ingles, alemán y ruso y hay puntadas en alemán que me encantan y no entiendo bien :( pero las de ingles si, así que ahí te va. debes saber derechos, revés, lazadas disminución simple, 2 derechos juntos,2 revés juntos , pasar puntos que mas .... creo tejer cuatro revés y derechos juntos.
    múltiplos de 14+2+ 2 de borde ( o las que quieras de borde luce mas si los bordes son revés)

    Turn over to the wrong side
    Row 2- knt 3, prl 3, prl 2 together through the back, yarn over 2 times, slip the previous yarn overs to other needle with yarn on the needle like 1 stitch, prl 2 together, prl 3, knt 3.

If you watch the details how she knit 2 together and how she flips the needle over after every row and how she knits the edge stitches on every row you will get it. Enjoy.

    there is a mistake in her pattern, in the 4 row, at the end you need to knit 2 st, not 1 as she says, but if you watch video carefully she knits 2 st. Later on, if you fallow the pattern, it ends up in 18 st.
    Hope it helped.
