I would definitely like to try them - I had the Pioneer 2000s & I am so used to that now. - Even though I started on vinyl, the Pioneers converted me. If they can match that robust feel then I am sold.

The wheel adjustment is a plastic knob and it feels son cheapppppppp. I paid $4589!for the set. After 5 times of playing with it it when back to the box if I can’t sale it is going to the dumpster

Exactly this. Plus, it'll take a while before venue owners start hearing about Denon enough from DJs to consider making the jump. Otherwise, they'd rather get what's "safe" and something all DJs can use and won't whinge about because they're unfamiliar with it.

Great review Jamie. A little bleak as I have just purchased my SC5000s and X1800 mixer. My one SC5000 froze but Denon DJ replaced the player for me so great service from them. Love the players and used the streaming service at a New Year party and they worked awesome for those weird requests I didn’t have. Another great feature to mention is that you can run 4 layers per deck with Serato DJ on 4 channels on the X1800/ X1850 mixer in HID mode. Serato DJ with Macook Pro. I ran my Deck 1 in HID mode with Serato DJ and had Deck 2 set with USBs and streaming from Tidal (even though you can stream Tidal in Serato DJ as well). When I needed to use channels 3/4 On the mixer with Deck 2 (for requests / acapellas) , I just switched those channels on the mixer to the normal line RCA. Another point to mention is that if you are running Serato DJ from a MacBook Pro with 2xUSB ports in your Mac USB hub, you do not need to buy a hub with 3xUSB ports as you can link the 2 SC6000s / SC5000s with a usb cable, and then run the second Deck/Player from USB out into the USB hub. With your X1850/X1800 mixer connected from USB1/2 out into the other USB port in the USB hub. Track artwork also works on the Centre Jogwheel screen on the players in HID mode with Serato DJ. One of the issues with preparing a playlist on the Prime4 is the inability to sort the playlist after tracks are moved into the new playlist (i.e. sort via bpm, rating, etc.) - not sure if the Prime OS fixed this issue. Are the cue buttons new or the same as the sc5000s? The old ones are super prone to breaking.
Will the Denonsc5000m get the serato waveforms like sc6000 anytime soon?
I can imagine a day where i would tell my ai to que a performance I performed a year ago and work it so the experience i provide reminds my follower how much i love them.
Very good Video, bring us moore
They look amazing
fantastic, fantastic, very good denon dj
Where the fuck is Pioneer? 🤨 They haven’t even responded to the SC5000 yet and here we already have the SC6000.. 🤦♂️ I mean what the hell are they doing over there? As die “club standard” it makes sense to go with Pioneer, but not if they don’t stay on top. Plus, I can get a Denon setup for half of what I’d spend on a Pioneer setup. They’re seriously going to have to up their game over at Pioneer.
oh my.. if only i had a spare few G's to drop on these
Can SC6000M do that 9:28?
I'm in love with Denon since the 5000m, the 6000 seem amazing! I just want to grab a pair for myself and hope clubs will get theirs when this Corona shit is over! From now on I will change my rider for: pair of denon 6000m, pair of mk2s mixed on a E&S DJR400. sorry but fuck pioneer seriously.
One of the issues with preparing a playlist on the Prime4 is the inability to sort the playlist after tracks are moved into the new playlist (i.e. sort via bpm, rating, etc.) - not sure if the Prime OS fixed this issue. Playlists created on your computer before importing can be sorted within the Prime4 - however playlist created within the unit cannot.
Pablo go to denon forums and report this, they will figure a way to fix that. they listen to the forums.
@@djerniet350 yes - I've been on the Denon Forum for months - They're still working on it. I have to give Denon credit for fixing other issues tho' - I complained on the Forum that they needed a quick way to delete missing tracks. The latest update fixed that it as well as other issues. So they do listen.
MANTAP JOSSS BAGUS SEKALI DENON DJ. 👍👍👍👍👍
It's very very nice
If i see correctly the port for the usb stick is on the back. I hope they make it more accessible in the next model.
For Storage: 1 USB + 1 SD (up front), 2 USB (at the rear), 1 SATA port (underneath).
For Software Control: 1 USB (rear).
Denon DJ has you covered!
How can I use the x1850 on serato DJ pro with my pair vl 12 prime either phase DVS or DVS?
Giant display. Denon 💓💕💓.
The Wi-Fi is a welcome addition, but in a professional setting, I would never rely on it, and neither should you.
Played some for the first time at my new radio station, not bad at all. Half the price of the equivalent Pioneer is bloody great value too
Is it true that you can use the mixer as a multi track recording audio interface for a daw?
Now Pioneer has to deliver
I like how i had your ad on your video.
Its too bad with such big screen, it doesn't play video.
It be nice with a button to switch between audio menu and video
Excellent description...Thanks :)
In conclusion, a Pioneer killer.
Amazing! Nice review! Both the mixer and the players have digital inputs / outputs, I'm curious why do you keep using the classical analog RCA cables? Digital should be (slightly) better quality, and cheaper cabling.
Hi Jamie, so because the X1850 has a 3/4 on the touch strip does this allow the ''FX parameter knob'' to be fine tunned? or does it still annoyingly snap to the same time divisions that are on the touch strip when you turn it? cheers.
This guy is great!
Thanks for watching!
I thought the sc5000 were also dual layer?
i got money to buy them but i cant find any online (stock ) only pre order .
Coronavirus has slowed the production down on a lot of DJ gear sadly. They will be available soon though! 🙌🏻
