As a x’r myself (born in 1970) i grew up on and still enjoy this music. Thank you for reacting to 1 of my favorite channels. I like it when they do these episodes
Biss, nobody cares if mom doesn't speak English. I can almost bet that, like you, her expressions say more than words ever could. Seeing you get excited and laugh has made my entire week better. Please do more of these! ❤
It's true we don't mind if Mum doesn't speak English, actually it's kinda expected given how little demand for English there would have been in Romania when she was at school.
This was fun, it was fun seeing you having such a great time, singing into your drinking straw, laughing, smiling, dancing, having a whale of a time to some great songs and artists that I think you knew all of them. More of this as well as the song reactions please!!!
You should be proud of what you have already accomplished with this channel. You have discovered some great music & I am a bit envious of the joy you will have discovering more.
The 70s are very special for me, I am a teenager but growing up in this era is something that I would have liked a lot. Music, cinema, hippie style, long hair, the best Rock bands, the Disco era. I have a special affection for that decade. I like them more than the 80s.
Biss, the name "Three Dog Night" was based on how cold an Artic night might be, because that's how many dogs the people would bring inside to help them stay warm. "Lyin' Eyes" by Eagles is a great sing along story song.
I was born in 1964 the last year of the Baby Boomers. I am 59 years old and I am so glad I grew up in the 60's and 70's and 80's a Golden Era of Music. I graduated High School in 1982.
I grew up with a lot of these songs, my older brother and sister would listen to them, they were born in the 60's, my mom listened to them too... I was born in the 70's. So, I know all of them.
Jeremiah was a Bullfrog was lyrics in the song Joy to the World by the band Three Dog Night. And yes you should listen to it and some of their other songs they have amazing vocals.
This reminds me of my son and I. We would rock out in the car all the time. Sometimes when I'm in the car with my son he'll play some old songs of my era and we'll rock out in the car now. My son is 40 and I'm 67.

I would have bet money that these youngins would have said that Dust in the Wind was sung by The Winchesters. When I was a kid in the 70s, not only did I know the music that was current, but also stuff from the 50s and 60s,,, even knew about folks like Glen Miller, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, The Andrews Sisters, Roy Acuff...and this was long before there was any internet. Growing up then, everybody was watching the old black N white classics at a very early age...by the time I turned a teen , I must have seen Bells of Saint Marys several times...and seeing those sisters in an Abbot & Costello film was always a treat. Watching Fred Astaire dance was a memory for the ages. My heart will always belong to 80s music, but these legends are with me forever.
One of the best things about being over 50 (gen x) is that I got to experience so much great music (later 70s to 90s) when it came out. Although I'd love to be 20 years younger, I wouldn't want to miss that.
No no, John McVie was married to Christine. it was Stevie and Lindsey that were no married. But they all had issues with cheating, though it did give us some of the greatest music ever. :)
Without even hearing any of the songs from the video, I can guarantee I have heard every one of them. I'm 56 now, and growing up, my parents both had very different tastes. Mom listened to rockabilly, Motown, country and country-rock, dad listened to heavy metal, progressive rock, and classic rock. I also spent time with grandparents, who mostly listened to swing, Big-Band, classical, opera and jazz. Which helped round out my very eclectic musical tastes. And having seen it all, I have heard all of them, either on tape, LP, or radio, and about half of them in concert too.
Hi, Madalina!! I was very happy to see you reacted to one of my favorite bands The Doobie Brothers. Their music is usually categorized as the Michael McDonald era where their music started to lean more toward R & B and Pop. Without his vocals, their music was a little more rock and southern rock. The best song for a blend of the two sounds was Takin' It to the Streets and a really good one before McDonald joined is Black Water. I would send links, but you hate YT links. The first song is a band called Three Dog Night. They were a good band that has lots of good songs, like maybe "One" or "Black and White", but this song "Joy To The World" was on the "Forrest Gump" soundtrack.
Love your excitement and engagement with these songs, what your recognized, and how much fun you were having! Definitely would enjoy more videos like this!
Being Gen X, I remember leaving my house and taking off down the street on my skateboard, I was this metal head kid, with long hair, and an Iron Maiden shirt, going down the street to meet up with my friends... we ended up sitting down on the curb and one of my friends was playing with a sling shot... he had a rock in it, and this Trans Am drove by slowly and my friend (Ernest) aimed the sling shot at the street, and pulled back the rubber-band and the rock ricochet off the street and BAM, hit the Trans Am, the driver screeched on is breaks, and we all BOLTED, we took off man...holy crap...we were trouble...Ernest is in jail now....out of 6 of us..2 ended up in jail...Gen X... we just didn't give a sht. lol... how times change...
I'm an early model Gen X kid, so I remember most of these when they came out. When I hit my teenage years, I got sick of the repeats on the top forty radio stations and found a station that played stuff from 1955 to 1974 and listened to that all through the 80's and 90s. Result: I don't know that came out after about 1987. If Post Modern Jukebox didn't cover it, I only know a handful of songs.
For Three Dog Night, I suggest "Never Been to Spain" first. Instead of The Eagles, go for Joe Walsh "Rocky Mountain Way", or if you can and not get a strike Eagle's "Take It To The Limit".
"Life's Been Good" is a song by American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joe Walsh that first appeared on the soundtrack to the 1978 film FM.

Hello 👋 Miss Bisscute !!! What I find Amazing is How old these songs are and have endured the Test of time !!!! Where Talent was practice to perfection in Vocals & instrumental !!! For Me Personally I can endure almost any music 🎶 from classical, country , Opera , soft & hard Rock , Blues Hell even Disco & Heavy Metal it's Rapp that leaves the Vocals Short in my Opinion not the Music 😮 However that's my Humble opinion so it's my weakest area of knowledge 😊 As always the like button 🔳 has been Illuminated 👍 ☀ 😎v
Good job Bisscute!👍 You are learning! I like your look today. Ready to slay someone?😜 Yes, react to Three Dod Night "Joy To The World" and more like "Mama Told Me Not To Come", "One" and "Shambala". Perhaps you should try again. 🤗😊
The beds too big without you and bring on the night from the Police! Three Dog Night, Little Stevie Wonder, Police, Eagles, Queen, Doobie Brothers, Credence Clearwater, .... Donna Summers, Kanas, Fleetwood Mac, !! Biss you are doing great child!!! I am proud of how many you knew. When you got Zeppelin on the first note or two!!! Elton!!! Sir ELTON.. In those days a few people smoked some POT. Do you know what a nickle bag is? Pleas do more of these lady.....
I love all these songs and yes we did some things in the 70's Booze, pot, hash, speed, downers, coke when it was free, (I was poor). but nothing harder or addictive just experimenting. Gave up all when I had children. Have to provide a good role model.

Yes, the 70's was a vibe, for the most part.

In those days a few people smoked some POT. Do you know what a nickle bag is?

I love all these songs and yes we did some things in the 70's Booze, pot, hash, speed, downers, coke when it was free, (I was poor). but nothing harder or addictive just experimenting. Gave up all when I had children. Have to provide a good role model.
Three Dog Night is not much known in Europe. Their great cover of Mama Told Me (not to come) is on the Boogie Nights soundtrack.
Im seeing three dog night in concert here shortly...
