#Chopin #Nocturne #Op27No2 #Piano
Hi! It’s been a while. At this time, the performance with Nocturne Op.27 No. 2 has been prepared. As far as I know, this Nocturne is one of popular Chopin’s Nocturnes. This is in D-flat major, but it has a melancholic mood. In the wiki, it is explained well “Various sections consisting of grace notes and polyrhythms add to the delicate and somewhat melancholic mood that the piece conveys.”. From this point of view, I think that this piece is not easy to play well. For the next video, I plan to play a piece in the Baroque period. Please look forward to the next video! Thank you so much all the time! Have a great day!
Nice performance and visuals as well
Welcome back!!
Hav a g8 day
Can you do andhadhun theme 02 it is Indian Piano Piece
You’re improving a lot with the visuals!
I heard Liszt's consolations no. 3 was inspired by this piece and wrote it at as a tribute to Chopin after he died
You’re right...they were best friends and Liszt wanted to write something that sounds like Chopin...
When Chopin died in 1849 , Liszt felt absolutely heartbroken and he paid homage to Chopin's life by composing the third piece of his set of Six Consolations, which he had dedicated to him. This nocturne sounds similar to Consolation no. 3 because Liszt took inspiration from it and composed his Consolation. I hope this helps!
That's cool! I noticed that they were very similar, but I thought that was just my thoughts.
Indeed! That's why my first two videos are those beautiful pieces
Thank you for sharing this!!
*Chopin was an absolute GENIUS.*
*I'm pretty sure his music will never die, thousands of years from now on*
If it does, I hope it is long after I die.
I can only imagine this piece being played alongside his other nocturnes within in a distant spaceship, within the deafening silence of space once the human race has migrated to space living.
I agree :(

The Nocturnes, in my opinion, are 'real' piano music. The true beauty of the piano, and its capabilities, are present - as if the piano were made for them just as much as they were made for the piano. This piece is so moving. It's definitely one of my very favorite Nocturnes, if not THE favorite, but they're all so good. I'm a classical pianist for over 40 years now, and nothing has 'trained' me better than playing Chopin's music. What a gift to the world it is. I just wish it wasn't only Europe and Asia to preserve and still appreciate classical music. In the US it just isn't a 'thing', and I think that's a real shame. This particular piece (like so many of Chopin's works) sounds like it would be rather simple; however, to the contrary, it is quite difficult. :)
exactly! I'm not an expert of piano and am only 16, but from my somewhat little experience I think piano sounds like piano better when playing a nocturne. Waltzes are also beautiful to hear and play, but they sound more methodical if that makes sense (sorry english is not my native language I'm aware I'm expressing myself poorly) and I find that nocturnes have that undefined and at times non-existing rhythm, and more of a sentimental vibe and they give you a sense of playing piano the way it was meant to be played, and as you said they sound so simple but really, definitely aren't. I think (or rather imagine) that there's way more effort that's put into composing a nocturne. that's just me though
Couldn't agree more. I'm from Canada and I wish there were more piano recitals, professional renditions of the music from the romantic era. I wish we had a Daniil Trifonov in america who could play the masterpieces of Chopin, Liszt, Schubert, etc.
It’s the same in Europe as in America unfortunately even with it being our culture, or should I say it was a culture.
Now the world’s culture is to numb the mind with pointless shit and regress
Uh, I’m in the US, and I listened to this song. 🎵 🎼🎶🎧🎤🎹🪗
A lot of music tradition has been lost due to time, classical is one of the best preserved ones
Usually, pieces in D flat major are relaxing to hear. But this one is like an emotion is shouting, but peacefully. It's like you can be sad and relaxed at the same time.
Definitely Chopin’s prettiest nocturne in my opinion
Nocturne op 9 no 1 is also amazing
In my humble opinion one of Chopins most beautiful pieces . Played beautifully, so serene , so delicate and so passionate . Thankyou Kassia .
I'm Japanese, but I'm always healed by kassia's beautiful piano sounds. I am always grateful for your help. We support you in the future!
You probably did not do it on purpose but adding the "but" in "I'm Japanese but" feels like you mean that Japanese people normally couldn't be healed by piano music. I fully understand that you probably did not mean that. Adding a but there just makes it feel like that. Hope you understand :)

We got everything in one-piece, virtuoso piece that emphasizes all the abilities of the modern piano, a lot of sadness, few moments of transcendence and creation. this is amazing and difficult piece to perform, you proved that everything is possible with al lot of work I guess - Your performance is perfect.
*Always in sync Kassia - uploading same day and time - what can I say* 😊 ❤️
Chopin is my absolute favourite and nocturnes are my favourite types of classical pieces.
AND on top of that, when Kassia posts, I shan't not click.
I love the fact that it is interpreted in a way that we can clearly understand what is being meant by the piece, or in other words, the emotions and everything. I’m looking forward Kassia. Good luck with your journey. :)
I gotta say out of all the classical piano pieces out there that I have had the pleasure of listening to this piece is by far my favorite. This piece was an absolute masterpiece. Also out of the interpretations I have heard of this yours is the best!
Side note: I think the gem key choice was perfect for me in my opinion. The piece and the visuals gives me nostalgia of when I was a kid and I would play bejewel'd on my dad's palm pilot.
a interpretação é unicamente perfeita! A suavedez das mãos, tão incrível, a melodia, é estupendo!!!
I just want to say that Kassia's music has been a great inspiration to me over the past few months, last year I was barely able to play Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement and thought of piano as something my parents forced me to do... Listening to Kassia changed my whole view of music and here I am spending 4 months trying to learn a piece by *Liszt* (Liebestraum). Keep up the amazing work ♡

Really love at that little passage near coda at 4:24 and 4:43. It feels discordant but no bitter and more content nuance instead.
Chopin did had this magic, to create beauty from oddity.

the dissonant notes could be thought to represent chopin and his lover's distance from eachother and their subsequent coming together as the notes fall down and become closer to eachother. Grzegorz Niemczuk has a great analysis on youtube about this idea.

Chopin - waltz op. 69 no. 1 or waltz op. 69 no. 2

Love your channel, and beatiful piece ❤
Number 2 very overrated and overplayed
@@konstantin1943 i wouldn't say it's overrated and overplayed because op 69 no 2 is one of his easiest works to play, if someone really wants to get into Chopin as a beginner then they would play waltz in a minor or op 69s
And a small portion of his op. 28s

Liszt: Yo can I copy your homework? Chopin: Sure just change it up a bit.

chopin even made major pieces sound sad..
i get your point, but major isnt happy and minor isnt sad
Yes, I understand what you mean, but there's actually so much more emotion in the piece if you look closer, so it makes a more hopeful impression overall.
Of course, the interpretation is a matter of taste, but we have the dreamy, melancholy beginning, which becomes a little more concrete and brings out the pain more.
When the theme comes for the second time, it is already a little more hopeful and it gives the impression that a little ray of sunshine has just fought its way through the clouds; it is still very thoughtful and leads into the bittersweet passage, which becomes a little more intense and desperate.
Then the theme for the third time, where it is very powerful and leads into the emotional climax, in which all the passion bursts out and one reveals one's heart to the other.
And then there's the final section, which is more like the beginning in terms of character, because you have doubts again and ask yourself whether it's right, but in the last few bars you realize that you no longer have to have these doubts and that everything will end well. Even if it doesn't seem that way at the moment.
I have a very personal connection to this piece, which is why I might interpret it differently, but just seeing it as sad wouldn't feel right to me.
But I also play the piece according to my own interpretation, so of course that comes across much more strongly than in the recordings on the Internet.
@@juliahoppe6747 Yeah, of course. The piece has such a strong dynamic contrast of emotions, but I was mostly speaking in general between major and minor. Thank you for your interpretation of the piece though, adds a lot of depth and passion, I haven’t listened to much classical music recently, but i’m coming back to it.
How does this sound sad? For me is like being in the heaven
This piece is definitely not sad, Chopin wrote this piece thinking about being in love
Hallelujah!
