- I am leaving the country to spend the summer in Europe. I decided to leave van life in the USA behind and spend some time exploring London. I like to travel on a budget and alone that's why I chose to stay in a hostel while in London. I love traveling with my skateboard and spending time with the locals. Get to discover the city with me. I enjoy the most truistic attractions but in a very alternative way. I also reunited with old friends and also made many new friends. Get to see the most authentic backpacking trip as a solo female traveler!

Hello guys! I’m at the airport as I’m typing this… like you saw I grabbed my backpack to explore London 🇬🇧 I like to travel cheap because I am on a budget so I stayed in a hostel! I love hostels because I always get to meet solo travelers with an open mind like mine. It was a dream to get to skate the city of London and also to reunite with my friend Remi! What do you think about this trip? Do you think was it worth it?

Welcome to London!
The river isn’t as dirty as it looks, apparently. I’m a TEFL and I used to take my students on boat trips up to The Tower. The guide would always say that because it’s tidal the mud and silt on the bottom of the river are stirred up by the tide going in and out. That’s why it is brown.
I still wouldn’t swim in it! 😂
As a kid growing up in England, the legend was that the water has been through at least seven people. 🤢

@@LidiaRico I lived there a long time ago for about three years and I used to count the days without sun and send the tally to my mom in my sunny hometown in Eastern Washington. Once it was over forty days in a row of solid gray sky....... not even cloud shapes to contemplate. It can be rough if you are used to a lot of sunshine. I enjoyed seeing a peek of Camden, lots of good memories.

Great video. Traveling in Europe last was Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and one thing you are absolutely correct about is I wouldn’t swim in that water or the canals. Anyway enjoy the country and be safe.

Glad you made it! I flew British Airways from Heathrow to LV and never again. I never felt trapped in a plane before with seats getting smaller and smaller I was losing it the last hour living in a tiny 3’x3’ space. The adventure looked great!

London was excellent to visit in the 1980s & 1990s, even on a limited budget. But it has rapidly declined during the 21st Century. You have to spend at least $7,000 to travel from the U.S. to London to spend a week in order to avoid problem areas and problem people, where there are many now.
I di not spent that much... I barely spent 300$ while in London

Lo unico que no me gustaba de ella es que el motor era muy pequeño. 1600c.c sin turbo.
Quizas por eso hizo que me pasara un poco en los 2500c.c y 140 cv de la que tengo ahora. Pero no me arrepiento.
