Sorry. Lotsa camera switches(editing) but you can't hit those marks and make it seem THAT smooth without it being a legit one take masterpiece. 4 people in synch. So great!
Mixmaster Mike (Michael Schwartz) begin working with the beasties around 1998 and subsequently became there go too DJ. People quickly begin referring to Mike as the fourth Beastie boy. He has earned, and deserves the title of the fourth Beastie boy..

Yes! Mix Master Mike is amazing... His solo tracks and mixes are phenomenal... And Invizbl Skratch Piklz are the DJ group he used to perform with (QBert rules!)... Another DJ group you might like is X-Cutioners, as all cats in that are amazing (RIP Roc Raida)... Them, and ISP, were ground-breaking in the world of scratch DJn... And yes, you're totally correct in that the DJs were the first ones to put MCs out there... Kool Herc (the 1st), Afrika Bambaataa, and Grand Master Flash (among many) were the reason hip-hop exists as we know it... And Beastie Boys were there for a lot of it, as the punk and hip-hop scenes were kinda closely related... And yeah, they rule... So good, so free spirited... Brilliant musicians... RIP MCA...
This is one of my all time favorite songs, and all time favorite videos since its actually live and not a lip sync of the original. One thing I've noticed on most of the reaction videos is that nobody seems to know that what MM Mike has on is a Ghostbusters Proton Pack!

@@curtmillholland1565 I wasn't referring to The Beastie Boys you idiot. I was agreeing with his comment about how hip hop has changed and he mentioned mumble rap.
@@noelv1976 See? Then that's what you should have said. What you did say indicates none of that. I suggest you try a bit harder when trying making a point
Live, one take, one DJ, making all the beats with one record.
💯
Once DJ drops the needle, I don't see any edits. DJ is for REAL. As are The B Boys, of course. Thanks for the react!

There will never be a band of brothers that the beastie boys. They are the true hip hop
That's Mix Master Mike!!! Essentially, he was the unofficial 4th Beastie Boy when they hooked up with him in the late 90's.
MCA Rest In Peace

Miracle Mile is in Los Angeles, so "from Manhattan to the Miracle Mile" means he rocks from coast to coast.
Good ole Neer Yerk.
He got the gig by spinning over the phone
Mix master Mike is dressed as a typical NYC roach sprayer. Not an astronaut.

Mix Master Mike. Sac Town.
I’ve never seen a reaction to this song get blocked so don’t worry.
Really? There’s a hundred reactions to this song on RUclips.
You should check out Cut Chemist "drum scratching" then check out DJ Shadow "pushin buttons" with cut chemist and DJ nu mark
Growing up in the 80's/90's the birth of rap I can tell ya "rap" today is crap! 🤬
BTS "Cypher 3 KIller ...live Busan"
Great reaction. You should react to Nick Nittoli too. His song called I wonder and oh well is dope.
Mumble pop with shitloads of autotunes
Ooh. A strong candidate for the most ignorant comment I've seen in 2021. Congrats!
