    No idea who Brad Taste in Music is or what the drama is but popping in to let you know this showed up in my recommendation feed, which is a good sign for you and the platform as a whole. Keep it up and you'll grow!

    The copyright issue was about Brad playing a playlist when he gets off his chair if I remember correctly. His album reactions are fine with fair use even when he reserves his thoughts on the music for the very end or chooses to express them sparely to not ruin the experience or is just lazy and tired like most would be when listening to music as a job. I don't have a problem with it probably because I'm invested in the music or doing something on the side and don't mind him being silent which is probably bad for his paid reactions but from what I've seen he gives proper commentary whenever he's doing them.
    The h3 situation is really sad because Brad's life problems mixed with his relatively parasocial audience that just happens to be dumb as fuck just crashed on him at the same time. I don't blame him at all and sympathize with him, he apologized well and is working on himself. He really has problems, his recent Eminem reaction was really hard to sit through because he kept talking about the drama and this depressing shit between every song and even started relating to the album which is one of the biggest signs that he wasn't ok. In my opinion it shouldn't have been a big deal even after he folded, people take drama of this kind way too seriously. I hate when I watch a Tom Dark video called something like 'Why I Hate Ludwig' and it's the lamest most meaningless drama I've ever heard about. People nowadays make humane mistakes that don't directly hurt anybody and twitter residents prosecute them with no mercy. Almost none of the drama matters in the long run. Kris Tyson being a loli enjoyer is a piece of drama that matters. Destiny calling Hassan the n word is meaningless in the untouchable cesspit that is leftist content creators. Drama channels and debate bros are the cancer of the internet. Slop channels are so much better.
    As for the Rose Mulet situation, I think Brad got fucked over by his fans the first time so he decided to straight up ignore their backlash the second time. It's kinda funny if you think about it like that but again it doesn't matter to me. He apologized to his community. There are no horrific consequences that could come from it and his community shouldn't be getting too angry and should try to understand better.
    Brad's fans now hate him and they're remaking his discord server because he went on h3. Brad isn't a brad person to me and it's ridiculous how much he has had to go through since I started watching him a few months ago

      Thanks for the clarification, I've seen a few reasons as to why the strike was given but I'm not 100% sure of what the legitimate cause of the situation was to cause that matter.
      Yeah a lot of drama is that way where a majority is very surface level and dumb but the way the people take the drama or the flack for it makes the drama balloon to ridiculous proportions. I'm honestly surprised the drama with Kris Tyson is starting to get traction now cuz I remember reading of that drama 1-2 years ago. With all the other stuff in your message, as I said I think Brad is a very emotional and reactive person, and I really like how vulnerable he can be with his mental health and addiction struggles too. With that being said, you can't please everyone, and I think this should be a moment to step back and recalibrate.
      I saw the H3 clip of him talking to Ethan and he said he was taking a social media break which is a good start and hopefully that along with more emphasis on the content side will put him back on track because to me, he has been very different for the past few months.
      Thanks for the clarifications, the information and the comment. Helps a lot of us trying to puzzle the situation and thank you very much for watching!

      @@snowchild9837 I'm always happy to help and give my own perspective ❤
      But I felt the urge to talk about what you said regarding Brad's openness with mental health.
      A creator being open with their mental health is an interesting topic. For Brad I think he needs to reconsider his relationship with his audience. You can talk about your mental health without creating a big parasocial bond, but the way he does it on his stream doesn't help him. With this being his job he's trying to make it a friendly place for him to relax and have fun and that goes deep within his mental attitude and struggles throughout his adult life. In the Eminem stream I mentioned, some shenanigans in chat lead to him having a moment to 'take in all the love' where chat was spamming heart emojis and showing their support. In that moment and throughout the whole stream he was talking about how he cares for his fans and he's sorry for treating them badly and he felt guilty. It's a good thing whenever he posts a video talking about this kind of stuff but what I was seeing on that stream looked very unhealthy and even one of his close mods was telling him to take a break (That whole stream was a mess). I think he was confused and I relate to that and believe he needs enough time to fully process the issues with his fanbase. Like you said, a social media break helps a lot and I also hope his discord server turning against him gives him some clarity.
      I'm just now learning that Brad has unlisted all his videos and it looks like he's still getting plenty of hate online

      @piclebob Its a tightrope for sure, and he is definitely one of the most vulnerable creators I have seen in his content sphere, maybe ever. I appreciate that in one front as a viewer, but I can see as a content creator, that as you said it creates this parasocial bond and it comes to a point where your audience begins to wanting to step into every situation in your life outside the channel. You definitely have to choose your battles of what to/what not to share and I think Brad will/has already learned this the hard way.
      It seems like this is still a fast changing situation and I wish it was more cut and dry so content can be prioritized, but it seems that the pot is continuing to be stirred which with each passing day is gonna make it even harder for him to come back to his normal kind of content.

    Brad critiqued a few of my songs and I will forever be grateful for that. I don't fully understand this weird drama, but from what I've picked up I think Brad is human and makes mistakes like everyone else and his audience is eating him alive for it.

      Yeah I think that's why the edited content did a lot more for him and that's what I have been missing from him. I hope he goes back to that because it's more accessible to a larger audience that can't be at every stream. Thank you for the kind words!

    I personally lost interest in Brad's content quite quickly. The listening to objectively terrible albums was funny, but watching his streams turned me off. I dont like his approach to critiquing his subs music, especially since some of them are paying for it and you're right in that he just sits there doing nothing sometimes. He seems like a decent dude who makes mistakes like the rest of us. I think its possible to share your values and "politics" (for want of a better word) without the drama he gets himself in, but I largely agree with you.

    • @snowchild9837
      @snowchild9837  3 месяца назад +2

      That's why I want the more edited reactions to come back cuz they are more compact and the edits that are usually done can be quite funny while also making it more fair use. I think when an artist brings a political issue in their music, that is the appropriate platform to talk about it, when it's through Twitter I think for myself it would be unnecessary but that's just me. Then again as I stated I don't use any other social media (although who knows if the channel keeps growing), but I really like to just keep it to music for myself but I totally understand and see that perspective as well. Thank you for watching and for the comment 🔥🔥🔥

    I'm not too familiar with the guy, as in I'm not coming in every day to watch his streams... but I'm subscribed to the guy and reacted to a fair share of videos he's posted. Before watching this video, the most recent thing I had heard of was him breaking down over the state of his channel (close to being taken down) and the strange drama/situation where he desperately tried appeasing the more woke side of his community
    After seeing this I wanted to check out one of his recent streams/reactions but hes deleted everything off his channel bar 1 or 2 videos. I hope hes okay man and not taking his channel completely off the rails because hes going through some shit

    • @snowchild9837
      @snowchild9837  4 месяца назад +4

      That's what I'm saying, I don't think he needs to be raked over the coals for this, I think it's more about the lights just being too bright for him and having to realize to scale back.
      You can never appease your entire audience, it's impossible. And I think Brad was his most happy when he was constantly uploading and not worrying about things like this.
      Thank you for the comment and for the watch 🙏

    • @dysfynnction
      @dysfynnction 4 месяца назад +1

      @snowchild9837 Np man
      I think the deleted videos is the biggest shame about all of this, especially returning to this notion that a lot of people out there (for example myself), I really don't give a shit about his personal beliefs or mistakes, hes a RUclipsr not a Politician...
      But the huge irony in this is that for the most part hes not being judged off his moral ground, its moreso his content, and so deleting all of your videos which his actual fans would've loved going back to now and again is a massive shame, especially considering the only real reason for it is because hes looking for that clean slate which he doesn't really need imo
      I think a break would suffice, or as you said just not overthinking about his audience and how they react to things so much 🤷‍♂️ seems like a digging to deep situation

    • @dysfynnction
      @dysfynnction 4 месяца назад +1

      Like the Rose Mulet and H3H3 situations (the latter I thought was blown WAY out of porportion regardless)
      None of that is initially his fault from my understanding? Just 2 situations he didn't know of that he got called out for, and thats where the mistakes of trying to appease started coming in. This isn't a guy really worth the hate that's been coming in but the guy needs to take some serious advice because I don't think hes really helping himself, and as this video covers in the first few minutes his reactions aren't the same right now, he's not in the mental space to be reliably accepting donations and reacting to music

    • @snowchild9837
      @snowchild9837  4 месяца назад

      @@dysfynnction yeah I think there would still be some flack for those things, but the fact that they were acknowledged and that he started deleting stuff doesn't do you any favors and leads to people thinking that you are guilty of something, even the small stuff. Big lesson from this is just to roll with the punches and keep pumping out content that YOU enjoy.

      @@dysfynnction i don’t really understand how you can say ‘i don’t care about his beliefs’ but at the same time watch his content to see his opinions on certain music. Politcs, lifestyle, beliefs, etc influence ones taste level. Aswel as discussing political driven music. Music can and always will be political, not all of it but a lot of it. So i dont get why you’re inherently against him as a reviewer talking about his views and why they may infuence his taste. You dont have to agree nor stand behind it but its hypocritical to say someone shouldn’t bring up politics (because its woke and not the politics you agree with) when discussing a highly political artform.

    • @snowchild9837
      @snowchild9837  4 месяца назад +1

      I mean when a stream for one song is less then a cent and you have chatters donating 5-20$ when you aren't attentively listening or engaging with the content. I think that is a problem. Knocked Loose has a big audience and they will be fine, but if he was to do that for a smaller artist looking to get a following, if that was me I would have a big problem.
      But thanks for watching and for the comment.

      @@snowchild9837 Hey, he’s gotta eat too. I don’t see why the blame should be put on streamers and not the services themselves underpaying the artists.

    • @snowchild9837
      @snowchild9837  4 месяца назад +3

      @theoneandonlymichaelmccormick I totally agree, I think that streaming services severely underpayment artists and that's why there is a growing number of artists contemplating going to a different format. I think as a streamer you can have a very positive effect on an artist and their growth, but you also got to make the content your own and provide your insights. It's all about balance.
