Donald Trump was found guilty on things that are essentially misdemeanors, though most of the things he was charged with had their statutes of limitations expired, but they were just extended for him and so there’s a lot of anger at the New York courts in this as the most that would have happened normally is he’d just have to pay some fines and that’s it.
