True and let me clear it up for you. They were related by blood being 4th cousins through their common relation to William Cavendish, 4th Duke of Devonshire. Their mothers went to school together and they had known eachother since they were children.
This actor is the best actor for Queen Diana elegant caracter.She makes everyone miss Queen Diana.
Diana wasn’t a ‘Queen’. She was princess of Wales until they divorced, then she became Diana, princess of Wales without the HRH.
And we DON’T all miss her. At least I don’t as I didn’t know her.
Nice miniseries. When I saw her I was fascinated. I've been looking for her everywhere to see her again and it's impossible for me to find her. It would be great if someone who has it publishes both parts of this very well done series. Thanks for posting this summary.

Diana said on an interview that she had only seen Charles 11 or so times before marrying him so they have this wrong. This movie portrays them as seeing each other often.
oh my gosh i remember watching this series when i was still in elementry school (now I'm 32 years old) I remembered crying in the end of the series and the background song add to the nuance of the series

My dad was an extra in this! You only see his back for a moment during the polo scene where the photographer is sent off. The polo crowd scenes were filmed about 10 minutes up the road from our old house.

Yes they apparently Diana wanted her own Fergie to be her lady-in-waiting but she wasn't good enough and then she interested and you up to the acoustic there and because she's already been around the royal Polo matches with the Father and the father new Prince Philip and Diana introduced her to Andrew

Charles WAS gentle, patient, supportive and faithful until he found out about Diana's affair with Hewitt then, according to an interview Diana gave, he went back to Camilla and "never touched me again." She actually admitted in several interviews at the end that SHE CHEATED FIRST! Her brainwashed fans refuse to believe her own words.
Get it right, again. Sarah Ferguson and her father were not in St. Paul's together for the wedding of Diana and Charles. He was in the horseguards that rode beside Diana to and from the church.

@@ladyshasha1035 Yes really, they got some things wrong but the conversations with Diana and Camilla and her eating disorder were not common knowledge when this was made. It was before the panorama interview and Andrew Moreton book

Keenster D....I can't believe that I myself have softened on Charles & Camilla but I have, thanks to a ton of info from many, many diverse sources.......much reading, documentaries(many of them) my googling(endless various insights like facets on a stone). I have separated myself from years of tunnel vision in regard to this whole royal saga with Diana/Charles/Camilla and even Fergie & Andrew. They were & are just human individuals being held and highly pressured to deliver the fine tuned product that was clearly expected of them. It's a matter of Charles having actually little to no choice since options were next to nothing considering the demands he had to end up with someone as close to perfect as possible for what she had to represent and he was raised from infancy to take on the duty of country & crown. Anything less would have devastated the Monarchy and very possibly be ostracized by his tight knit family. Not worth it as it would have to be an other worldly love to be able to cope & handle such a multitude of responsibilities, duties, family, almost constant uninvited press, foreign countries several times a year, zilch privacy, and that's just a few of the good things. NO, no real blame here as they were all being played for sake of protocol & means to a much higher end. Now that over time I've come to understand a lot more, I person- ally don't blame anyone in the beginning.........it's how things ended that I find disturbing & can't help wondering about the whys and hows and that floating suggestion of conspiracy(no reference to Charles) as there were certain enities within Monarchy who had developed a very deep contempt for Diana especially in view of the the very real possibility(in their own minds) that there could be a quick and maybe unpredictable marriage between her & Dodi, I personally don't think that she would have sprang something on her boys like that. Pull apart & psycho analyze all day long and.......we'll still never, ever until we reach that huge auditorium on the other side where the curtain gets drawn back to expose all the answers all us have ever wanted to know !!!! NOW THAT'S AN ENDING !!!!!!!!
Diana was never suited to be a future queen. She was ,as her family and teachers said, "as thick as a plank." She was too immature, uneducated, had no interests except clothes, mentally unstable and an emotional mess.
