Get Hurt was a riveting experience. In my honest opinion its up there with 59 Sound. It really hits me close to home as I too am stuck in a marriage which just is not working. I feel the songs Brian Fallon wrote to my bones.
people will hate anything a band does. If they change they're sound, they weren't ready for it and that's just not who they are. If they don't take the risk and stick to their known sound people will say the band ran out of ideas and it's getting boring. I'm glad TGA were brave enough to try and experience with different sounds and styles. And they successfully did so, it may not be their best album but it's certainly a good one. I hope they realize how important is for them to keep making music together, because they got a beautiful thing in their hands. They might not be the biggest band out there, but they're a big deal to a lot of people, myself included.
