I build hoses for a cat dealer. After I saw you using the spring guard as a wrench organiser, I gave excess to one of the mobile techs. Said its the best thing he's done to his toolbox in his truck.
Love the videos! In my service truck for crows feet I cut a piece of 3/8 square stock weld a washer to one end then drill a hole in the other end and put a small hitch pin in it. I made a 3/8 and 1/2 set they work awesome
I did the same thing, welded a washer on 1 end and threaded the other and put a nut on it, works great.
I going to do that
I use a stick of 1/2 inch keyway stock to hold my crows and then just a small pin on both sides
Excellent. Finally a solution that saves space. If you are going to use a travel case ie (DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc) just make certain your coils reach the top of the inside of case lid so your wrenches don't fall out in transit.
Cam isn’t hacking it for once.
I have it in my truck, works well.
Haha nice seein' you in the comments again Chad.
Weld a few pieces of 3/8 key stock upright in the drawer and you can stack up your crows foot and they wont move around
I did the same as soon i saw it with first video from truck review... works perfect !! Thnx for the tip man keep the good work 💯👌
Right on man, OG community member! Got any other tips on how you organize your stuff we can share?
@@TekamoHD PVC pipe for the drill and impact holder
Spent 30 minutes trying to figure what that spring was called when I saw an older video. Glad to finally know what it’s called and now I could organize my wrenches nicely 😂
Haha let us know how it works out for you man. Nice miata.
On those crows feet I have a 1/2 square rod that I cut and stack my crows feet on it. And I just drill a hole in both sides with spring pins on both sides. Have one set that goes from 15/16” - 2” and another for smaller sizes.
I’m going to try that wrench organization method though.
Hey Aaron, would you be able to send us a pic of how you have it set up?
Do you guys have any tips on how to organize your tools?
i use heavy steel gas welding rod bent like safety pin. Able to hold wrench family's together, thus allowing staking on top of each other thus getting more wrench's per cubic inch. Works great with stubby's, smaller wrench's. Eliminating wrench racks which cut down number wrench's a drawer can hold.
@@billcovert3473 Would you be able to send us a pic of how you got that set up? Curious to see.
@@TekamoHD What email to send pictures?
@@billcovert3473 you can send it to media@tekamohd.com thanks man!
Hey cam for my crowfeet wrenches I use long bolts and a nut and slide them along 😊
I like my wrench rolls personally
Nice work i need to do that too
Give it a try and let us know how you like it. Send us a pic and we'll put it at the end of a future video.
See ya later bouy! Clever!
eyyy it's Mike. Hope you're doin' well man
It’s a handy trick for sure Cam until I have to steal my wrench rack to put on a hose haha
Hahaha
Doing this in my new truck. Don't have wrench racks like my previous truck.
Let us know how it works out for you.
Great tip guys.
Thanks guys. Appreciate you always in the comments of our videos.
Another good video guys! I've been binge watching the channel ever since I stumbled across it! I never comment on videos but Cam makes these videos so much fun and educational at the same time that I want to show some appreciation haha! I'm hoping to move from the shop to the field soon with the Cat dealer I work for and If that works out, I'll have to give the hose armor wrench organizer trick a try!
Glad you like them Sam! Whereabouts are you wrenching? Send us an email at media@tekamohd.com. We'd be happy to answer any questions you got about transitioning into the field.
I use this same set up :) swapped a couple old hoses that had been blown and used them instead of throwing them out .
Dam I wish I can work with you guys.
What area are you in? Got any experience?
Awesome video as usual guys..
Thanks Terry as always
That's great tip,
Simple and effective,
Thanks for sharing
No problem! Glad you liked it.
Thanks for the idea. Clever.
Give it a try and let us know if you like it
