    I felt you “threading “ pain. The more I watch you the more I love you. You are real and a refreshing breath of air in a world that can seem so fake. Thank you.

      Thank you Trixie. I have been so unmotivated lately. I keep saying "Rebecca you need to get some crazy quilting done" Then I continue to sit in my chair and listen to podcasts and crochet. Ugh.

      @@danceswithpitbulls Crocheting is good too. I still have some of your old crazy quilt videos to watch so I’m good. I joined your dances with pit bulls secret club and posted my first crazy quilt Square which I turned into a pillow. 2021 is going to be the year I make my very first crazy quilt. I’ve been saving scraps long enough.

    Hello dear Rebeckka!
    I have been watching your tutorial every day for 2 weeks now and am fascinated and enthusiastic about your work. Here in Germany, crasy patchwork is not that common, which is a shame because it is a great creative field that you simply implement beautifully and explain well. Thank you for your great videos!

    I really empathize with the threading needles. A total pain! This is a really neat demo. I love it! I’m going to do this on mine.
    I have watched all your previous Crazy Quilt videos & am really encouraged that I can use the peach skin material, mostly from clothing / thrift store finds etc. That I have been gathering for my Crazy. It will probably take forever for me to do it, (my husband is severely disabled so I’m his 24/7 caregiver & have very little time to myself,) but when I get started I will share it with you...
    I had questions about cleaning one & really appreciated your info on that. So I am going to embellish gently (mostly with stitching, small beads & buttons so I can wash it if & when. Thank you so much, l love ❤️ your work. Beautiful!

    • @danceswithpitbulls
      @danceswithpitbulls  4 года назад

      This comment was hiding from me for some reason! I just now saw it. The only thing about the peach skin fabric is that they can be hard to sew through when embellishing so use the sharpest needle you can. Looking forward to any progress you make and glad you understand the precarious nature of washing crazy quilts lol

    I'm going to make one of these trees and applique leaves to it. Awesome tutorial. Even the needle threading. Everyone has problems at some point and it's nice to know we're not alone.

    Fabulous! All kinds of possibilities. A forest, perhaps. I always have needle threaders handy. Weird thing is, I never have a problem threading the sewing machine. But holding a needle? It’s like Blind Man’s Bluff or something. lol. THANKS!

      oooh a forest of lovely little twisted thread trees! I should have needle threaders but of course I don't. I can thread the sewing machine quickly too- just this heavy thread giving me grief

    Kidding! I'm kidding! :)
    I get it on the switching numbers. I do that too. I also have a hard time with left and right and I felt kind of dumb for years until I learned that it is a form of dyslexia.
    I don't think I'll be doing it, but that tree is beautiful.

    • @danceswithpitbulls

      It has way more than you need. You can probably get two trees from one skein. You need 18 strands at 25"
