Holy shit, Tom! When Tres Hombres came out when we were teens, we spent hours trying to imitate Gibbons’ pinch harmonics and it would take us months to get it right, and here your kid Marshall is already nailing them?!?! I don’t dare make any suggestions or tips, as his path appears to be self determined and laser focused. Cursed be the one that tries to knock Marshall off that path.
Thanks for the link. Couldn’t find his channel last night. Very cool!! He’s rocking the Z that I see in the background. Sounds great! Looks like the kid likes hockey too 👍 Love that sustain/feedback that you’re getting here. That’s a cool contraption.

Your compositions are so complete, inspiring, and calming! This one scores a 98! Incredible work with this guitar! I often find myself shaking my head at what I am watching and hearing! Sometimes I get something in my eye too, and have to wipe it dry. You have to be the biggest hidden gem the public has never heard. And the way you invent these on the fly, and in the moment, or after a long day at the office, and then share with us (!!) is never lost on me! Tom, I've been listening to some of your earlier posts and ended up at the Pitch Shift podcasts. I listened to both yours and Sarah's interview. Two of the best interviews I've listened to for a long while. Inspiring and full of insight. Thanks so much.
Hey Buk……I’ve come back to this video several times now. This HAS to go on the next project of yours. And I love the clever name too. The people need this in their lives. Lol
This came on while I was working and I thought, "Larry has a new toy". That O'Brien Strat is very cool. I use the FreqOut in a similar fashion. I can leave it on and it grabs notes to feedback. Great arrangement!
My favorite creative “Arteest, guitarist”!❤ Thank you for the fluidity and inspiration . You’ve made an old hack better by your example and personality! “It still lives”!
Another stunning piece of music, just beautiful. What a gift you are to the guitar community. Loved that latest foray into Gruhn’s with George and Eric!
I had a Performance guitar made by Kuni in LA... with a Sustainer. It was so cool to have a completely clean signal that would sustain as if it was overdriven. I do have the FreqOut pedal now, but the Sustainer had a setting for 2 harmonics at once that I miss.
That's a guitar I don't think I've seen you play before. New ?? Loaner ? That neck pick up is intriguing. The music your making needs nothing said. Tasteful and emotive as usual :)
Hey Tom - with the exception of this sustainer-equipped guitar, I think I have never seen you play a guitar with different types of pick-ups, like a HSS or HSH ("fat" or "super") strat. I believe there is a reason behind this and I think I like it, even though I don't know for sure it even exists. I think it's very cool to enjoy the variety of possibilities a doubleneck has to offer while deciding that humbuckers and singlecoils are just too much clutter on a single guitar.
Third Homeskoolin' video I've seen today. I feel like I should buy a lottery ticket to see if my luck would continue. Thank you, sir! I'm constantly drawn to the painting agains the wall behind you, I was wondering if you could tell us something about that. Hate to be a nosey boy but I'm intrigued
Very musical use of an Ed O’Brien Strat. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how Radiohead layer guitar parts. If you had to pick one Radiohead song to wipe from your memory so you could hear it again for the first time which would you choose: Let Down or Weird Fishes / Arpeggi?

@ probably hangin with Odie Cologne and the other “short subjects”. I was anointed with this handle by my older seesters whilst still in the womb. It’s been with me ever since.
Uncle Larry could be standing in a busy Brit market stall, selling fish by the pound. Instead, Tom sells sounds by the pound, as if he invented the currency.
Can tell you had some issues with the G string “hanging”, there’s enough pencil lead in the slot you could call that a No.2 nut. Lol! Is that one of the Fernandes sustainiac systems? Sounds like fun!! Always appreciate your sharing!! Thank you!
