When you're going Mach 1.4 and pull a 14G vertical. That's basically what your altitude is thinking lol. It's funny how an average fighter pilot can only handle 10Gs before blacking out and planes are designed to not let you pull passed 9 or 10. Meanwhile War Thunder you can pull like 15G turns all the way to -12Gs. Body just explodes from pressure

My old man use to be an AO in the Navy and my mom and I would often go to the hangar and see him for whatever reason so we would be around those. If I could've dropped out of school at an early age and joined the military with no high school diploma, I would've done it in a heart beat.

If you go combat arms, you'll spend most of your time in the motor pool maintaining your vehicle then cleaning or you could be in the field doing fuck all. Of course, you have all of the other BS involved like admin, sexual assault classes, emptying connexes then filling them back up. Most guys who join leave after their first contract because it's a whole lot of BS in here and we straight up do nothing. The coast guard does more good than the marines/army combined. It's not glorious. Enjoy your civilian life. Don't let your hatred for school keep you from learning new things.

The thing is though, I thought SAMs were radar guided by the trucks on the ground, and the only thing with a contrail is the booster stage that gets the missile up to altitude? And yet they use flares and giant fireballs. Weird
It does appear to be heat seeking due to the fact that there is a clear glass part on the tip of the missile, while radar missiles usually have a solid piece of metal there, without the glass dome. Also the fact that he is dropping flares means it is a heat seeker. But yeah definitely wouldn't burn that long, and a jet shouldn't be able to outrun it like it did.
No would they re-attack. They're simply moving too fast and would lose too much energy to do so. Missiles burn for about ten seconds then glide the rest of the way to the target.

Missile that is about as fast as the plane it's chasing. Reacquiring lock after passing the plane (or worse, after going for the heat signature of the exploding dropped fuel tank). Ballistically hitting the plane without exploding, which means it's a dud. Although that might explain why it didn't explode when it thought it was hitting the target while it was just a dropped fuel tank. Still makes no sense.

It's technically supposed to be the leaking fuel/oil igniting. That in technicality would never happen, jp-8 is way too stable in large quantities to ignite unless it's atomized properly and is burned at a specific flash point.

edf203 by the look of the vehicle its a heat seaker. SAM can be radar or heat, since there both Surface to Air Missile
