We just did this hike about a week ago. Great drone footage. We hiked in and saw the Petroglyphs on this trail. We only saw people who were rafting on the river. Other then that we were the only ones on the trail. We really enjoyed the hike. Thanks for sharing.
It was definitely a cooker! We absolutely loved the area because it was so different from our terrain and climate from SW Missouri. A spring or autumn visit is on our list!
I have a DJI Pro Platinum. There is a mode called Quickshot that I used for the selfies. You line up the picture, then hit "GO". It counts down three seconds (while I stash the controller) and then it does a backwards and upwards fly-away shot. I used two of those in this video and reversed the clip in one. I also used a flight mode called Active Track to follow us while we hiked the trail. You line up your shot, then "draw a square" around the subject on the screen that you wish to track, and then hit "GO". As long as the drone keeps the subject in clear view, it will track along with you. For those shots, I had the remote in my hand out of view. We're having fun with the drone for sure.
