How I make my own stuffing is bread, some chicken broth, 2 or 3 eggs whisked together, raisons, celery, onion,, sage, pepper and sometimes cooked ground beef or sausage or even cut up apples....and I bake it in a covered roaster pan, n then when is is almost ready I remove the lid and brown it some more....here in Canada. How my Mennonite mother taught me

I love Patti Labelle but I like my stuffing put into a casserole dish & baked!! All of these ingredients were spot on I just would have buttered a baking dish & put it in the oven @ 400 for like 30-35 mins

Wow I have never in my life saw dressing May, especially in my community without using buttermilk cornbread, and making your own stock,I don't think I would like any dress in met at a white bread, And I love Patti LaBelle, and I remember being this shots when I read it in her cookbook almost 20 years ago when the first cookbook came out, I think it was called cooking cuisine

Dressing is not dressing absent cornbread. 👎🏽. And it’s not supposed to be served soft. There should be a little crunch or crust to it which comes from baking not in a skillet. But what do I know 🤷🏽♂️
Thank you for your honesty... If I brought this dish to almost any black family, I’d be embarrassed and no one would probably touch it. People need to be honest and stop gassing people up just because they’re a celebrity. I do, however, love her music!

All Black people don't cook the same way, hold the same religious beliefs, raise their children the same way, listen to the same types of music, talk the same way, dance the same way, etc. Why is this so difficult for some Black people to accept?
