I grew up in the Okaloosa county, the next county over and I too once bailed out of a car and ran from the cops shirtless with a beer. But I was barefooted as my flip flops got left behind in the bailout. I can still hear the cop yelling "I just wanted to have you turn your lights on" as I ran off. I was close to home and the car wasn't mine so I just ran home and hid in my house. But it's nice to see the young Florida men still upholding a long standing tradition.

@@DividedWeAllFall Don't get so upset but it is a rule. Because then they avoid the suggestion that something was left out becasue they recited it from memory.
Of course most American cops, and by “most” I mean something like 99.999999% of them, know the Miranda warning by heart.
But if you read it, and there’s some question about whether or not the complete warning was given, and that question comes up in court, a cop who can say, “I read the defendant the warning. How can I be sure I read him the warning and didn’t just recite it from memory? Because I always read it precisely so that when I’m asked a question like this in court, there’s no doubt,” is going to be better off than a cop who says that he recited it from memory, or that he thinks he read him the warning, but isn’t sure

Yeah they cant keep the money you have in your pocket if they cant prove it was obtained illegally, but if they can, they can keep it. Still bs, and still should be illegal, but they can do it. It gives them motivation to prove or potentially lie on how you got your money, which is why it is a conflict of interest, and should indeed be illegal. @@TheDe1deonly I don't got it. To be under arrest is not to have handcuffs on you, it's a legal command.
So if you aren't under arrest (not physical, it's a command), then you can't resist arrest.

If they pull up behind you in a vehicle, with their lights and siren on, and you don't stop, it's Felony fleeing in most states; you can ignore them, and continue on, obeying every traffic law, etc it doesn't matter. And like they say, you'll have your day in court; the prosecutor will decide which charges will be pursued, meanwhile, you are still in jail. You can call that a win if you want...

Neither one of you understands what is happening right there if you have a problem with the use of the F bomb in the situation.
It is *intentionally* part of the lexicon for that situation. They're not only not going to not use it, they're likely looking for something stronger.
