The king is back with the golden uploads! Love any type of clip involving Bonds hitting, watching him attack pitches in different parts of the zone is great
WOW, look at Bonds numbers so far in his 2004 season as of September 16. One would believe that he plays his home games in Coors Field. Goodness. .370 batting average, 40 home runs, 100 RBI, .600 OBP In 2004, he was walked 232 times, and of those over 232 walks, 120 of those walks were intentional walks. Thats just INSANE Makes me wonder just how in the world he hit more than 20 home runs or gotten 100+ RBI in 2004 since he was always walked or pitched around
He had such a violent swing it’s almost weird seeing him get a nice inside out single to the opposite field. Also, notice one thing: there was a shift on him. All this talk about banning shifts these days is nonsense. The best hitters in league history had shifts, and demolished them handily. Namely, Ted Williams and Barry Bonds. Either hit it over them or hit it away from them, don’t ban sound defensive baseball strategy!
Folks always focus on the homers when it comes to Bonds and steroids... but I look at all of his other numbers from 2001+. It's insane how locked in he was; it was like he saw the ball in slow motion for a few years.
You only ever see clips of him hitting home runs its rare to find clips of him hitting singles.
Lol try to find clips of him striking out
@@maximilianmin1786 I've only seen one clip of him striking out, and it was against Mike Mussina.

Imagine if he played half of his games at Coors Field?
@@richiebambara3980 Then he would be walked even more. 30 home runs, with a .390 batting average, and an OBP of .800
@@hmhm856 I could see .700 OBP
Bonds is the one who sold tickets. More fans would attend their home teams games just to watch him play whether they want to admit or not.

And 9months later the shift is gone 🫡 next year that is
DRUGS!
Bonds would of hit .400 in 2004 if it weren’t for the shift!
The only guy I ever saw consistently beat the shift by hitting into the teeth of it
0:30 Bonds should have had way more RBI than that….makes it even more impressive the season he had considering the shitty lineup he was hitting in

Look at that shift lmao
.600 OBP absolutely ridiculous lmao
a .609 OBP LOL
Almost 1 out of every 3 career hits he had , was a Hr
