You Must To Keep Them Separated!!!
Da muss ich dir zustimmen!
Hey you're not the real flula
Or maybe you are! Love your comedy my friend!
Das good
Do an Audio cookbook next!

Flula is operating 5 dimensions above this audience. He's epic.
I see what you're getting at but your sentence literally makes no sense.
@@curleypubes3672 Maybe it's smeg to girth the man in an instant, but some say you might have to- the choice is yours.
He's inherently on cocaine
Quinn Bannon lol
@@Nick-mn7oo How many cocaines does your father need to do to be born with such cocaines?
Flula is the only guy who makes Conan catch up to someone.. So much energy!
Would have loved to have seen him paired with Will Ferrel during his prime
Tythrak He does have a video with Will Ferrell
and i also notice when conan is with flula conan goes lower (in energy) than he normally ever does, flula is the alpha dog in this bish haha:D
Effects of cocaine
@@highstreet2535 please shut up
His IQ must be pretty nutty, I mean really watch him for a second... He's not talking random, he's really choosing carefully what he's saying.
i got all of his references, even the one about Small Wonder
Studio Vulcan It’s impressive actually. He’s taking in stuff, and immediately contemplating and outputting a response that he’s created in a split second. He’s not only obviously a pro at English but also a quick thinker. He can take in something said in English and immediately output something in a stereotypical German accent, in a funny and stereotypical German way, immediately. People neglect the fact that that takes a good deal of skill. It’s not just “haha I’m saying English stuff in a funny stereotypical German accent”.
He is extremely fast and witty
The whole thing is staged, zero random, improvised stuff happening there.
@@krisztianwirsz3612 the content is gone over and the bits are structured, but you can tell that Flula isn't going by a script. He's using a fake, exaggerated broken English with a heavy German accents for humor and appeal to American audiences. But Conan has said many times that he has guests that he doesn't do prewritten scripts with because he respects and enjoys them, and they create the content on their own. I think these interviews with Flula are loosely structured as far as topics, but no one is reading a script here. Conan does a great job of making his show different than "TV".
Flula & Schlanski conversation would probably create a black hole on earth.
Please Conan make it happen!!!
@@MsDanny1973 exactly, this must happen!
CONAN PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN
It will rip space-time.
Holyfuck! 🌌
"My cousin Zwieback" 🤣
Love that he snuck something in for German speakers there!
Does your Oma also make them??
“Stalag-mitties and stalag-titties.”
I’m dying here.
Anyone that can move that much faster than Conan is the man in my book.
English isn’t even his native language, and yet he understands the nuances of the language better than the average native speaker. One of the wittiest guests on Conan’s show honestly.
Would be awesome if he made an appearance on Conan’s podcast as well!
Conan can't keep up with him... I think that's why. You can see in almost all of the the clips with both of them together, Conan can't catch a breath with Flula XD ... love them both and whenever Flula is on Conan's show
I find that with a lot of people who learn English as a second language, are also naturally curious people that want to understand the meanings behind idioms and idiosyncrasies, and are playful in personality. It makes for some interesting characters like Flula. 💗
It's quite remarkable especially because he's not my age (27) I would say most of us europeans who're my age or younger can speak quite well. Some of us fluently, like myself. I think because he has a very thick german accent people assume he doesnt understand it. Pronounciations can be hard to learn as it's something you pick up by talking or listening to people. Not by reading.
@@Plague_Doc22 Obviously he's playing a character. I imagine that 'IRL' his command of the language and pronunciation are much better.
@@dimitrioskyranas6455 Yes hence why I gave him a compliment and explained why this isnt uncommon for europeans. We may sound like we dont fully grasp the language but we do.
The "confused foreigner" bit is difficult comedy to pull-off for an actual foreigner. You can tell Flula actually knows a lot about America's pop culture & use of language, so he can naturally "get it wrong" if that makes any sense.
yes! He's briliant :D
Yes, I've always said that he must have a really good grasp of English to get it "wrong" in such a good way. He knows what he's doing.

Flula's on another level man, dude's too funny. He's crazy with the references
He even had the correct direction of the stalagmites and stalactites. He's hilarious and intelligent

Andy laughs like a king being entertained by the jester 😂
As well he should, I love thinking of him in that role lol "prance for me, Conan and Flula!"
Andy’s laugh is golden
I don't know if I've seen him ever laugh more than when Flula is on.
Andy was already slowly breaking while Conan was still trying to comprehend Flula’s barrage of nonsense
@@dundundata7603 Well Andy is a Swedish-German, so he can really get that type of humor.
@@Dayvit78 we don't have any women. We only have Andy Richter, the Swedish German
Flula borg is so self-aware and such a comedic genius!!!! His timing is perfect it is a shame Conan's show is shorter.
I have good news for you, he was the guest on conan's podcast just now. I'm here because of that :D
He is easily top 3 guest on Conan history. They are Hilarious together
Flula, Aubrey Plaza, Jeff Goldblum is my top 3
Robin Williams, Flula and I Don't know who's m third fave Conan guest.
Jose Namaste I’d say Bill Burr
Agree with bill Burr also Timothy olyphant
Flula, Jeff, Bill and Timothy... I can’t decide between them.
This dude burns madd calories when he talks.
That explains why he's so ripped
That Offspring reference was absolutely golden
I love that Conan is the one who has to play the strait man in the interview because of Flula's ridiculous energy
I nearly died laughing when Andy is losing it when Flula is telling his villainous unicorn horse story and Conan is trying his best not to laugh. LOL
I was in the Army for over a decade total active and reserve. To this day the US Army still teaches all recruits about Gen. Friedrich Von Steuben and his impact on the military in the US. A lot, if not most of what he wrote still stands. We owe drill and ceremony and a lot of our traditions to him. He wrote what is colloquially knows as "the blue book." "Regulations for the Order and Discipline of the Troops of the United States."
im just curious, how much of army/military training is learning and studying (like stuff like gen. steuben) vs. what people stereotypically think army training is (learning to shoot, physical training, parachuting, etc.) ? i feel like there’s probably a lot more bookwork-type stuff than most people think there is
@@hana-rv6ru It hugely depends on your occupation in the Army (infantry, armor, logistics, human resources, medical staff, etc.) and whether you're an officer or enlisted soldier. I can tell you that on the officer side of things, a lot of training is focused on physical ability, but much more goes on in the classroom with instruction in tactics, leadership, and ethics. As far as military history goes, my instructors have talked a lot about their own experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the mistakes that the DOD made in those conflicts and how we can learn from them. They'll mandate books or even movies from time to time, but it doesn't go much further in depth than that. Outside of what the army provides, all cadets (officer trainees) are required to take a class in U.S. military history from their university.
roadhouse699 thats so interesting! thank you
@@hana-rv6ru Just saw your comment so sorry for the late reply. There'a definitely a lot more than most think there is. How much varies based on your MOS or job. The majority of those in the military serve in support MOS's but for combat arms such as infantry its necessarily going to be less. Its been over a decade since I completed basic training but I'd say basic is a pretty good mix of 50/50.
I didnt even read the other replies before responding. Roadhouse699's reply was pretty thorough and I agree with everything he stated.
I would definitely buy that audiobook. I wanna experience being high without cocaine. Flula is crazy, I like him!
Danke MarVal! It is avail for Pre-Order now if you like! Boom!
@@flula thanks a lot Flula. You are amazing!
I think the secret is cocaine haha
Flula I can’t keep up with you . You have so much going on like the really loud suits Mr Brown wears 😱
Look at Flula here just casually sneaking in a mixed-up reference to "Small Wonder," "Mr. Belvedere," and...I'm guessing "The Jetsons"? Conan was right-- most Americans don't even remember those shows anymore. Flula's secret expertise on American pop culture is impressive. By the way, "Mr. Belvedere" was a great little show. The legendary Bob Uecker was in the cast. Best episode: the one where Mr. Belvedere accidentally gets addicted to pinball.
He does the same trick with the Dirty Dancing movie reference that segues into the scene with clay from Ghost.
Under 30's are probably the only ones who don't remember those shows. I still remember the Mr. Belvedere episode with the tornado.
I'm guessing pretty much anybody my age (40) remembers all of those shows very well.
Yeah the only people who don't remember those shows are people who were born after they took them off the air. Weird.
Don't forget the Spelunky reference. Conan definitely didn't get that one lol

@@Snaakie83 ahaha, blast from the past!
I think Flula is the only guy who makes Conan play the "straight man" in a bit. Usually Conan is the crazy one. I guess Flula is too quick-witted even for Coco.
Not too quickwitted but this is the reason why Conan is one of the best late night interviewers, he knows how to make his guests shine, especially the comedians.
Meine Namen thats one of the things I hated about letterman. He hated having a comedian outshine him if he was interviewing him. Conan is the opposite. He loves when comedian shines and he loves interacting with them and he gets to be a fan. When bill burr comes, Conan just lets him talk and laughs. He does the same thing with flula
Flula isn't a comedian, he's a D.J.
Flula was just on conan's Podcast. It was great
Flula, Burr, and Norm
Love that Andy is just sitting there laughing..
For His next trip, Instead of a new country, Conan should be a guest at Flula’s family reunion.
Totally.
Yessssss! This is a genius idea for a bit!
It was about time he's invited back to the show! (Why isn't he a constant visitor anyways?)
The Kentucky Derby: The Rikers Island of Unicorns

Nimesh Bhandari I hope he’ll be on the podcast.
Sounds like a discontinued orange soda drink.
*Flula is Iconic! Can’t believe he isn’t more famous!*
Flula's American history is probably still more truthful than in school textbooks.
He needs his own show. I could watch this for an hour
Me too, but I'd be exhausted after an hour :)
No, he would burn out after a few weeks. Either him or the audience would get tired of him.

The thing I love about Flula is how flipping smart this guy is, and he is so quick I know he makes at least 20% of people who don't know him think he's a goof ball. But multiple languages and a math god this dude has a crazy IQ for sure
Casually name dropping Come Out and Play is not something I expected to see on Conan, and it makes me adore these three gentlemen even more.
Hahaha my cousin "Zwieback"...Nobody in Germany (Austria and Switzerland) is named like that. Zwieback is kind of a really hard bread en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zwieback
As a child I used to eat it quite often, especially when I was sick e.g.when i had diarrhea.
Only when I had diarrhea 😂😂 but kinda liked it tho. In the Balkans it's called "Dvopek".🤣
Lol
Yes! It was Zwen's Nicksname!!
@@flula :D
I think there's a character in an Astrid Lindgren story called that or the Swedish equivalent of it, so it's not too unlikely that a German kid now and again would be named after him, maybe.
You can tell Flula gives Conan anxiety, it’s so funny to watch him lose his patience
Acting
William Jordan nope. It’s played up, but the exhaustion is there
SuperCacapedo No you‘re wrong, especially as these interviews are rehearsed, he knows what’s coming, it’s strictly acting. This has nothing to do with patience or exhaustion, whatever patience and exhaustion even have to do with each other
@@tsfbaf303 They are not rehearsed, but the host knows what the guest wants to talk about and doesn't want to talk about.
I agree. I think Flula is showing Conan his side that he actually is afraid to accept in himself ;)
I can see that unicorn story as an animated film.
As a german...nope, I have no words for this guy^^
He's awesome but in such an exhausting way, if he made a 2 hour netflix special you'd have to take a 2 week vacation afterwards just to google all the stuff he just unleashed
I was waiting a long time for another Flula interview 🤩
The song by the Offspring had not been written, so we didn’t know

Flula is like my crazy, teenage self that wants to bust out of my 40-year old body, but with social norms, sadly I must suppress her. So, I live vicariously through his extreme Teutonic Verrücktheit. Ich 🖤❤️💛 Dich, Flula! xoxo Christine in sunny CO

I hope that at least once, you can let that self bust through, if only for an audience of one. The world needs the crazy people.

3:00 - I like how he used "stalagmitties" purely as a segway to say "stalagtitties". Truly a better master of our language than most of us.
Love Conans passion for history and how they can incorporate it into the show
Flula is BRILLIANT! Very quick and hilarious!
I'm still mesmerized by the fact that Flula and Conan went to the nudist beach roughly two kilometers away from my home. It's part of a big park and I usually take a walk there every couple of days. Also, when they went to the 'Wilde Renate' to perform with Sado Opera, I was able to shook Conan's hand three times and take a picture with him. I was totally fangirling over him which still gives me nightmares but I love him beyond words. I must have annoyed him a but I couldn't help myself but to thank him for 25 years of late night. What makes it even better is that I also met Andy and Sona (I said that I would love her to which she replied that she was all sweaty and stuff because it was so freaking hot that day in Berlin). My most unforgettable day of all time! ❤️
I see Flula and I instantly smile from ear to ear. He is a treasure.
I saw Flula when Conan came to Chicago, this man has an insane personality and I love it.
Flula is an absolute treasure
Flula is the man that this crowd does not deserve
Flula's energy is out of this world, love this guy.
Jesus. The energy between Flula & Conan....off the charts. Friggin luv it.
I love hearing Andy just cracking up.
That is exactly how the Kentucky Derby started: Criminal Unicorns sent to Earth were punished by running around in a circle at the "Rikers Island" of Unicorns after being dehorned.

3:30 "my cousin Zwieback":'D
I want this audiobook, I want it to be in german and fall asleep to it! Flula, der einer, der einer oder keiner!!! And he makes Conan laugh for real, too precious!!!!!!!
Def gonna get the audiobook, I actually worked at Valley Forge (it’s a national historical park near Philadelphia with rolling hills, valleys, architecture and streams, super peaceful and gorgeous) and actually learned a lot about General Von Steuben and the Revolutionary War during my first few weeks working there, he definitely played a pretty major factor to the success of George Washington’s troops in the final battle in New Jersey against the British (Valley Forge is where the soldiers camped out before crossing the Delaware River, many having perished at Valley Forge due to fever and illness often caused by unsanitary conditions which evidently Steuben may have rectified). I guess they didn’t have time to mention this in the interview but Von Steuben was also fairly known for his flirtations with the soldiers. It got to a point where every time rangers/tour guides mentioned Von Steuben my coworker and I would waggle our eyebrows at each other lol
There are rumors that Freiherr Von Steuben had to leave the Prussian Army due to this flirtatious behavior which made him available for the new job in America.
"My cousin Zwieback told me ..." Zwieback, ein klassischer deutscher Name. Man kennt ihn.
I guess I was the only one that got the "Small Wonder" reference.

Flula's comedy is something I TRY not to like...but I love it and can't get enough 😂 I especially like it because I know a lot about both German and American culture/language.
Flula is more of a comedic genius than he seems, fast and crazy funny.
It's like his brain process information 4 times faster than other humans. Every time I see a video of him, it blows my mind how funny and clever he manages to be, while saying everything like Speedy Gonzalez.
