Thanks Kathleen - That colored paper project is taking forever. Once I get closer to the end I'll do a video. On that wood - For some reason, when you add a little white back and that touch of green, it all of a sudden becomes tree bark!

Love all 3 cards and the techniques you used. It's nice to have reminder techniques I haven't used in a while. The lattice technique has always been a favorite of mine and I haven't used the woodgrain embossing folder lately either. Now I'm thinking I need to make a few cards soon. Oh yes, love the handmade flower stencil too. You always come up with great ideas. Glad you are doing videos again.

Hey there Julia, if these cards are made with scraps... I love, love, love them! No one would ever know unless you told them, or they saw this video...LOL! 🤣 I loved the colour choices for all three cards which made it impossible to choose a favourite. Clever idea swiping the ink pads and paint over the textured woodgrain, and in doing so it gave a lot of depth to the completed card.
Adding layers to both front and inside of the card when the cardstock has a lower GSM is the way to go as it really strengthens the card especially when the recipient displays it. I have purchased cardstock in the past from my local newsagency with a 110gsm, it is very thin, and I have lots of it which I try and use for other purposes other than card bases. However, it is good to know that it can be used in a pinch with extra layers.
Julia, have you ever tried the Tombow Mono sand eraser to remove boo boo's (glue, ink smudges etc...) from your card? I find it very useful, but you need to be careful, so you don't damage the fibres on the cardstock.
    Have a wonderful time crafting.
God's blessings, love and hugs. 🤗☕🍰💐💖

Hi Gloria - Yes I have mono sand eraser (somewhere). I have not had a great deal of success with it tho. Probably because I don't have really highend white cardstock. It tends to peel a rough spot for me, which I would end up covering up anyway. Blessings to you my Friend!

Hi Julia, I really enjoyed your cards today ... and the assembly. I love that you throw in assorted tips for us. As you were having a go with the "wood" scrap, I said to my hubby, I've seen green moldy stuff on birch bark -- and it's like you heard me and brought out the green paint. And i loved that idea of punching something and then making it work as a stencil. I love watching how you play with things before slapping them on. I've sometimes regretted the placement of items when I've been too quick. Anyway, enough rambling. Thanks so much for more great cards and another fun video. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
