  • In this episode, all the hard work pays off big time when the body and frame come back together.....but will it all line up?

    I'm jealous of the forklift 🤣, maybe one day. Love seeing unique builds like this, most people wouldn't care that its a 4 cylinder 5 speed 4wd and think of it as just another truck (in fact I have the same thing but 2wd in my driveway, come to think of it you're right I never see them 4wd), but you see it as worth doing all this work to, and that's just awesome. Good luck on your truck and channel!

      Thank you! The forklift was definitely a game changer for me. We have them at work and I use them so often there that I knew I ha d to have one at home too! BTW I have been watching your channel for awhile now...6bt in the explorer....very ambitious, I SUB'D! A few years ago I put a 4bt in a ranger and that truck was SO MUCH FUN! -Frosty

    I was thinking about subscribing but RUclips sent this to me because these Ranger videos are the type of videos I enjoy but the primary content of this channel is not this. If it was I'd sub. I enjoy people rescuing junk from the salvage yards and putting them back on the road. I'll keep watching these until it's finished. Good progress BTW and good job on the frame splice.
    P.S. Awesome family! Also it's 4th of July weekend rather than Memorial day weekend. LOL

      Thank you for the kind words about my work and family, I appreciate that! I took this footage over memorial day weekend, just took me a while to get it uploaded. The primary content will continue to be projects I do at home like the Ranger build. I do sometimes post for my job, if you do subscribe please feel free to skip over those if they don't interest you. Thanks again for watching and I hope you have a happy and safe 4th! -Frosty

      I watched marketplace FOREVER to find the orange Yale....and then bam the yellow Hyster fell in to my lap. I really need to get rid of 1 of them. They sure come in handy though, very glad to have them around.

    Hey! Awesome job. I’m doing something of the same project. I have a question. Can you please tell me what all wires Ect. I need to disconnect before I pull the cab off?

    • @frostydoesit
      @frostydoesit  Год назад

      Thanks Joel! You really just need to get down there and start, there are usually a few plugs on the drivers side by the steering column and large plugs one on passenger side for PCM and one on drivers on firewall under brake master, fuel feed and return, brake master or lines, safety cable for cab that loops around rear cab crossmember, grounds on both sides from body to frame, 6 body mounts, shifter or cable depending on transmission, speedometer, radiator. I am sure there are some things I forgot to mention. It's pretty easy, just take your time and double/triple check as you start pulling the cab up and off.

    I thought you would have painted and Treated the Chassis 😮 Before fitting on the Body 🙈

      It's one of those things where you have to ask yourself, where does it end? I was originally just going to swap bodies so I had a 4wd truck, that spiraled out of control in a hurry. Maybe someday it'll get more attention! Thanks for watching and commenting!! -Frosty
