The originals storyline made the vampire diaries so good. The way Joseph Morgan played ni'klaus was amazing. He gave him so many layers when first the vampire diaries started Damon stole the show. You couldn't imagine anything more evil. then klaus came made Damon look like the Easter bunny lol

The Originals became my favorite show to watch and out of all of them it is the best one in my opinion.
yeah more details , more stories , that had meaning & purpose to the show which was "always & forever" "anything for family". im glad he found unconditional love in his daughter hope before he sacrificed his self with noble brother elijah . that shit will be forever epic!!

If you watched The Originals, Elijah has this thing called a 'red door', where he hides his deepest, darkest secrets. His mother knew this, and told him as long as he keeps himself clean and always kept his word, no one would know the bad things he's done, which is why he ALWAYS wears a suit and ALWAYS keeps his word.

Fun fact from the books: Niklaus is the only Old One or "Original" appearing in the books. He's ten thousand years old in the books if I remember correctly. It also took some celestial hax and other shenanigans to "take him down".
Edit: Over six thousand years, my bad. He's also only named Klaus, not Niklaus.

Also, it's literally The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith. The one with Niklaus should be Book 4, been a while since I read them. It's called Dark Reunion. I highly suggest reading the entire series... It's completely different from the TV show.
I honestly feel scared of them (The Originals) when they first appeared in TVD. I used to hate them hahaha but now i love them. They're actually the best villains in TVD along side with Kai Parker.

Joseph Morgan was Truly Perfectly Casted as Niklaus Mikaelson. Because of His Legendary Performance and Dedication to Niklaus Mikaelson he is My All Time Favorite Actor.
