But it's Good that even the creator admits it to be a FANSERVICE , a pathetic one really
To me klaus had the most development throughout the series starting off as a pure villain with no compassion and no love what so ever but then with having feelings for Caroline and then hearing about his daughter slowly his character develops into something more meaningful and the way he was meant to be and in the end making the greatest sacrifice of all to save his family.
I, somehow, got to watch this scene and instantly fell in love with the guy's attitude and started watching the vampire diaries followed by The Originals :D
